I just was reeading my box of Blue Diamond Almond Nut Thins. There is a logo on the front that declares them a "proud sponsor to the Celiac Foundation". However, on the ingredient list in bog bold letters...Warning, produced on a line that also produces products conatining wheat! :blink::huh::blink::huh:

I tried Nut Thins and got sick. I haven't eaten them since, which is a shame cuz they are really good. Even though the ingredients are gluten-free, I think there's a cross contamination issue here.

I eat them all the time and have not gotten sick. And I react to quite a bit lately. I contacted them and was told they cleaned thouroghly.

Becky - That's encouraging. Maybe I'll give them a try again. It was over a year ago that I had them.

I believe they have butter/casein, but I do buy them for my daughter who eats gluten-free but can have casein.

I've been wondering about these too. They taste GREAT and I was eating them a lot for about a month. However, I felt awful the whole time and was definitely getting gluten somehow. I can't say for sure that it was the nut thins, but they are a likely candidate. I've stopped eating them and am finally starting to feel better.

i've never had a problem with them. i used to eat them all the time and then stopped, but now i have been having them all the time again and haven't gotten sick so i think they are fine cause i get sick from even the littleist

The pecan ones are great, too, but I can't say anything about cc.

I tried them right after being diagnosed and felt awful after eating them. They taste great but I agree, there must be some cross contamination going on.

If you reread the box you'll see it says they're made in a FACILITY that has wheat, not on the same line. In fact, my memory is that they have their own line and possibly their own room.

i live and breathe off of these things and haven't ever had a problem and i've been finding that i'm super sensitive as well...i'd say give them another try...maybe you were having an off day before or there was a slight reaction from something else...i have days where i KNOW i haven't eaten anything wrong but my stomach acts up too...could've just been nature :)

Hi, I have been wondering about Nut-Thins lately too! I recently purchased quite a few boxes because they were on sale. Among the purchases were the new almond cheddar cheese crackers, which were in the special gluten free section of the store. After trying the crackers, I read the box and it DID NOT have the gluten free label anywhere on the box like the pecan and other boxes had. I became concerned and wrote to the company about 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear back. Also, their website does not say the crackers are gluten free, it only says they are proud sponsors of the Celiac Disease Foundation.

This is about the only processed food I consume. Mostly I eat fresh vegetables, fruits and some meat. Has anyone else noticed this?

I love the pecan crackers and take them with me whenever I go out as a safe backup but I do wonder now how safe they really are?

      This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers.       Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
