Well let me know if you ever find it. The Yeti has been around longer than I have, so I have no idea how he came into the picture :huh:

:( I'm sitting here on my computer, Mark's across from me on his doing work, and Matt is playing a game on the Wii.....I just realized that this is the last evening we'll have like this. Mark's leaving for Houston tomorrow and when he gets back everything changes.

I'm having a teary moment :(

Bah!!! Snoaugh this am! Was so excited about the warm 2 days...and now this. We have daffodils, tulips, hyacinths coming up.....peeking out of the grounds....they want spring as much as I do. Now they will prolly pop back down under their little dirt tiger pigs....not to be seen again till April!

Pah-tay...sorry for your emoshunal roller-coaster ride. You'll get through just fine, your connections will not be broken..just different. Hope you get to have lots of chuckles today.

Every time someone mentions Yeti.....I get this picture from "Harry and the Hendersons". Was my sons favorite movie when he was little......I've seen it many times (and didn't get tired of it myself). If you've never seen it...you should. Such a cutesy film, and fun!

Pouring rain here. Lyle is fussing because he wants me to come back to the bedroom with him. Lefty is fussing because he wants to be on my lap. Max is napping because he got his canned food and there isn't much in life worth asking for beyond a freshly opened can of sea food pate.

Everyday I bleedin' fall asleep whilst listening :lol: ....thinking to meselph it's a waste of time......BUT!!......I CAN'T finish me dinner.......and I don't really want to snack! :o:unsure::blink:

Nikerler! Paul McKenna is quite well-known 'round this house.....Jack and I sat through two of his specials that were on TV a few months ago.

For whatever the reason, The Ripper was immediately fascinated by everything this bloke was saying and doing (and needs to lose NO weight - - being a growing kid, he needs to gain). He was captivated by McKenna's self-hypnosic approaches (picturing worms in the peanut butter), and insisted one night that we all keep our eyes closed throughout our entire dinner. Sure enough, I only ate two-thirds of me plate (likely because I couldn't find half of the food)..... . .. :lol:

So, you're learning hypnotic techniques, Nik. Could be a whole new world opening up fer you . . . ......

Be veerrry careful with hypnosis.....there may very well be subliminal messages after all! Yeah, I understand Rippelers fascination with hypnosis! I took a bunch of psychology courses in college. I loved them all and was quite obsessed with finding out what makes people tick....including myself. I played around with self-hypnosis :o and would NeVeR recommend that anyone do that. Could be quite dangerous.....hmmmm...maybe that's what happened.

Wish you luck with it Niknik. Hypnosis works......IF the goal is something that you RealLy want! It fails if the goal is something you are not quite ready for. The good news is that hypnotists canNot make you do something that goes against your conscience. (feeling any urges to cluck like a chicken?)

Here's a funny.

An Englishman, Irishman, and a Scotsman walk into a bar and each order a pint of Guinness. By some chance, a little fly lands in each of their drinks. So the Englishman pushes his beer away in disgust and asks for another. The Scotsman simply flicks the fly away and gives the Englishman a look.

      I would only add that cross contamination with wheat may still be a possibility, so it's still best to seek out buckwheat that is labeled "gluten-free."

      Hello, I've been diagnosed with IBS since I was little. I’ve visited many doctors because my intestines have always been very reactive to food. I have chronic swelling, and I struggle to gain weight. This year has been worse than others: I started noticing fatigue, loss of muscle mass, and many digestive problems, especially after consuming products with gluten. My doctor suggested that this might be due to some imbalance of gut bacteria, so I started taking Bifidobacterium Infantis supplements. However, my symptoms have been getting worse every day. I experience nausea, frequent abdominal pain, migraines, and palpitations after eating. I had these symptoms before, but now they are more intense. I thought I might have Non-celiac gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease, so I took a home test for Celiac, and it came out negative (though there may have been an error—I was nervous and accidentally contaminated the sample with air bubbles). Based on your experiences, should I pursue further medical exams for Celiac? I’m worried about being underweight and about my blood test results, which, even if still within normal ranges, have been declining each year.

      Dang......did it again and yeah I should admit I am 63 with clumsy phone thumbs. I started feeling better quickly and a doctor a year later said I had to eat  poison (gluten) every day for a month so he could formally diagnose me and NO FREAKING WAY. I couldn't then and can't imagine putting my body through that crap (no pun intended) on purpose ever again.  Why ingest poison for a month to have some doctor say Hey, All you Have To Do Is Never Eat poison Again..
