SHUT UP!!!!! OMG this just made my day!! Are they marked as gluten-free (in the black box) or you can just tell from the ingredients? Was this at the regular supermarket or Whole Foods?

The ones I have are totally different.

They do not state gluten-free on the box, however B&E confirmed them to be when we called. Its actually a blue box with a red stripe on the top. And these say on the box that they are fully cooked.

The buffalo Ingredients: Chicken Wing Sections, Water, Rice Starch, Paprika, Sea Salt, Vinegar Powder (Maltodextrin,White Distilled Vinegar), Spice, Paprika Extract, Glazed with Hot Sauce (Aged Cayenne Red Peppers,Vinegar, Water, Salt, and Garlic Powder), Butter, Cayenne Pepper,Paprika Extract (color).

And the honey BBQ Ingredients: Chicken Wing Sections, Water, Honey, Tomato Powder, Cane Sugar, Vinegar, Rice Starch,Salt, Spice, Natural Smoke Flavor.)

I would contact them to see where they are available, from what I know these were just made available this month. (717) 865-6626, www.bellandevans.com/fz

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
