Rice Krispie Treats?

I really miss rice krispie treats. Does any know of a gluten-free cereal that is like rice krispies? I have made treats with fruity pebbles, but they are so sweet.

Thanks,

Nikki

yes, erwhon (sp?) makes rice crispies. be careful b/c they make gluten-free and regular ones, be sure to get the gluten-free ones. I really like them. I also like New Morning's cocoa crispies. Not too sweet. I like to mix them with the regular ones, and eat them like that. making them into treats like that is good too!

They do?!?! I just bought some from the gluten free store in our area but I will have to watch this as sometimes we buy them elsewhere.

Walmart's Great Value brand makes gluten-free rice krispies treats. They come in a purple box. Sometimes I've noticed that half the box will be rock hard for some reason. I just pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds and they're great.

I used Aveeno products for years and had to stop using it because my skin problems got worse.  I do have Dermatitis Herpetiformis.   Not all people with Celiac react to oats.   I use tallow balm.  People have been using it for thousands of years.  Tallow balm is better absorbed that plant fats.  There's also tallow balm soap.  My favorite brand is Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm.

Yes I have thyroid and have had it for over 30 years and just got diagnosed for cealiac last march.I have been complaining all the years about stomach pain weight lost hair falling out they kept blaming on the thyroid and I am over 70 years old. but what I’ve been reading thyroid, diabetes, should take a closer look,I think autoimmune plays a part. All I know is that I cook strictly gluten-free and also found if restaurants don’t have a designated gluten-free kitchen not going there. Cross contamination is a big thing .
