Hello to all :) I just wanted to be on the safe side before I go here. I think it is safe. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks

i'm pretty sure jamba is safe. i've had a few myself, and not reacted. don't know about the mixins though.

I've been there once and didn't have a problem. I was afraid of the "mix-ins", but the girl behind the counter had a book of ingredients and she read them to me for the vitamin thingy I had added. If in doubt, you don't have to get anything mixed in.

Make sure you don't get any "boosts". The last time I checked with them, they told me that they have oat bran in them. Send the company an email, they have a list of gluten-free stuff.

I emailed them asking if any of their products including boosts had gluten, so hopefully I'll get a response soon. I'll post it here once I do get a reply. :)

Here's the response I got.

Hello Amber,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Here you go! None of our

sherbets, frozen yogurt, sorbet, fruits or juice concentrates has gluten as an

ingredient. However, our enlightened base does contain gluten. There is either

wheat bran or oat fiber in the following boosts: Fiber Boost, Power Boost,

Immunity Boost, Vita Boost, and Energy Boost. Therefore, you can still enjoy

the smoothies, but skip the above listed boosts as well as any of the

enlightened line of smoothies.

There is also a Nutritional Analysis Guide located in the lobby of each store

that lists ingredients in detail.

Don't hesitate to contact me directly if you need anything else.

Cordially,

Barbara Bense

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
