Tooth Aches...

Curious question, does anyone else ever get so many teeth hurting at once that you can just call it a mouth ache? And that your teeth all feel like they are throbbing?

I usually get this at random times (like i got it today for no reason i can think of). and even if a avoid the hot/cold/sweet whatever else could trigger an actual toothache hasnt helped, so I'm guessing it's Celiac's fault this time once again!! Anyone else have this? Anyone know how to help it?

Yes, I get this as well. I haven't figured out what to do to help it, I just wait it out and suffer, I guess. Sorry I can't be a real help here, as I could be asking the same question.

I get it when my sinuses are inflamed. Just the slightest pressure in the maxillus cavities causes severe mouth pain for me. I use ibuprofen, antihistamines, and decongestants to relieve the pressure and pain.

Sometimes my dentist can pinpoint it to where my nerves enter my jaw bone. They get pinched when there is inflammation in my head from allergies (of which I am not sure), sinus infections, colds, etc. When that is the problem ati-inflammatories and muscle relaxants seems to help me.

Well my sinuses bug me every single day, i think its because I have so many allergies--even being on nasal spray dont help me breathe any better or feel any less stuffed up or sneeze less. So I know thats not the cause of the tooth ache. My bad week of contamination (twice last week) is over with, so I dont think its that either....And i still have the mouth ache...

Sometimes these Celiac symptoms are such a mystery

I'm so sorry you're going through this—the "gluten challenge" is notoriously brutal, and it's awful to deliberately make yourself sick when you've already found the answer. For the joint pain, many people find that over-the-counter anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen can help take the edge off, and using heating pads or warm baths can provide some direct relief for the aches. For the digestive misery, stick to simple, easy-to-digest foods (like plain rice, bananas, and bone broth) and drink plenty of water and electrolytes to stay hydrated. It feels like the longest month ever, but you are doing the right thing to get a clear diagnosis, which can be crucial for your long-term health and getting the proper care. Hang in there; you can get through this! This article, and the comments below it, may be helpful:

Daura Damm (a sponsor here) uses AN-PEP enzymes and filtering in their brewing process to reduce/remove gluten, and it actually tests below 10ppm (I've see a document where they claim 5ppm).

This topic has come up before on this forum and has been researched. No GMO wheat, barley and rye are commercially available in the USA. Any modifications are from hybridization, not laboratory genetic modification. Better toleration of wheat, barley and rye products in other countries is thought to be due to use of heirloom varieties of these cereal grains as opposed to the hybrids used in the USA which contain much larger amounts of gluten.

Welcome to the forum @Ceekay! If you have celiac disease then you can't eat wheat in other countries because it would still contain gliadin, the harmful part of the grain. Have you been diagnosed with celiac disease?

I can eat wheat products safely and without discomfort when traveling to Mexico, Outer Mongolia, and Japan. I feel that US wheat, barley, and rye are grown from genetically-modified seeds that have had something unhealthy done to them, that causes a bad reaction in many of us.
