I am currently waiting for the results on my biopsy.

I haven't had many problems except that I have funny BM adn I have had skin problems about a year ago. I went of gluten and my skin totally cleared up.

I decided to go back on gluten and then I took a blood test and it came out partially positive so I decided to just do the biopsy.

It has been 6 months since I started eating gluten again and I am now again having skin problems. I have look to see if it looks like DH, but it doesn't seem that way. I have dry scaly patches on the back of my elbows and around my eyes. Its red and itches a lot. I put eucerin on these spots about 3 times a day, including my eyes.

Does anyone know if this could be DH. Everyone just thinks that its eczema.

Any adive from anyone who has had DH, I would appreciate it

I wish I had some advice. I see a lot of questions here but havent found alot of answers. I use Calmoseptine ointment on rashes on my body but wouldn't use it around my eyes. You can find more about it at www.calmoseptine.com Good luck

Hello everyone.  For those of you that I’ve had a sensitivity develop to eggs and dairy (one or both) I am wondering for those who were able to go back to eating these things how did you discover that it was all right? I have a sensitivity to both, but I really miss eggs and I really miss dairy but I’m afraid to try them again so I’m wondering what others have done. Thank you

Hi and thanks for this place to ask questions. I have been diagnosed with a gluten and milk allergy but so far I have no Celiac diagnosis and honestly I probably don't fit the diagnostic criteria for a diagnosis of Celiac Disease. I've come here because I'm having problems and you all would be knowledgeable about gluten free diets.   An allergist diagnosed me with a gluten and milk allergy about 15 years ago but she said "if you eat a lot of it, don't worry about it." This haunted me because I did not eat a lot of it but it was in my diet. Going 100% gluten free was daunting so I struggled with lowering my intake and observing results when adding it back. Due to aging, I think, the problem is...

Yeah, that one is always hard, especially since life seems to revolve around food. That happened to me 2 weeks ago with hibachi and with Hungarian hot dogs. I used to be more picky, but now I would love to try all the things if I could. On the bright side, my husband is absolutely wonderful with it, and his mom often brings a few certified gluten-free things to family get-togethers just for me (and tries to make sure main dishes are safe too). Having the people closest to you be supportive can make a huge difference.

I hear you. My extended family is very good about factoring in my celiac disease safety needs when making family celebration meal plans but sometimes it breaks down in the spur of the moment decisions to "Oh, let's go out and get some teriyaki" or the like. Especially when my brother in law comes into town 'cause he's pretty particular about what he likes to eat. So, sometimes I just say, "You guys go ahead without me. I'll find some leftovers." But, still, I admit to feeling a little left out at such times and a little like a 5th wheel.

Same, and I appreciate your comments. I just needed to get it off my chest. Sometimes, even when its a genuine mistake, it can feel all too hurtful and I didn't want to go back to work tomorrow still in my feelings.
