it is going to be heavy wet snow.

This description made me chuckle :D (wet snow)

I often say there's been ''wet rain'' ...you know, big fat (heavy) spots!!!

BTW - do you really live in ''Chocolatetown''?

Amanda--

Gosh, be careful going home! We've had freezing rain now for several hours--it's 32  We are not supposed to get the snowfall, though.

Last week we had 16c and all our snow melted...then the next morning we woke up to 10cm of snow. It was "wet" snow. Wet snow is much heavier and harder to shovel than regular snow. Tomorrow: 12c if we are lucky.

I lived for 10 years on Vancouver Island where we had tons of flowers in March/April. Right after I moved to Regina, I was bike riding with a friend in April and I said, "Where are all the flowers?" He said, "It's April!" "Yeah! Where are they?"

Turns out in Regina, you get about 2 weeks of flowers. Otherwise it's either too cold or too hot.

Yup, I'm from Kitimat...much like Rupert weather-wise, but less rain and more snow.

Ah yes, Kitimat, the snow belt  Where you go around in circles looking for an address. We have a niece there :D

Spring came down here to Florida along with all the ole' snowbirds. Snowbirds drive real slooooowww.

But the weather is nice... :P

Guhlia Rising Star

It was 71 degrees here today... And we still have SNOW on the ground!!!

and where we dont have snow we have mud or just soaking wet grass!!!!

Guhlia Rising Star

:) Exactly :)

However, I'm delighted to say that Tori and I were able to play outside today. I bought her a tee ball set so she learned how to swing a bat. She was actually quite good at it. We also had a picnic, in t-shirts. The weather man said in the news last night not to count on this past snow to be the last... He said we're still waiting on the onion snow... Ugh!

Mother nature does not want me to unpack the sandals and my pretty summer clothes does she?

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
