Thanks for the website. That will make it easy to check other medication. I did not, however, see the list of drugs that are not gluten-free. Can you post a link to that?

The list has Benadryl elixir, but does not list the caplets. The ingredients list on the caplets box has "starch". Before I call the company to ask about gluten free status, has anyone confirmed whether this product is gluten free or not?

Thanks,

Michelle

I too am curious to know if the gel caps are gluten free. Anyone here knows by any chance?

I wonder the same thing... i know on the American list I seen that it is safe, but I'm always nervous about taking it here in Canada because I'm not sure. Does anyone know if its 100% safe in Canada?

I took the liquid benedryl yesterday and didn't have any reaction, in fact I took it as an article had said that anti histimaines might help with glutening and I'd been glutened the day b4, it did help somewhat :)

I'm in Canada as well.

Bendadryl depends on the form. When in doubt, call the company. They are really nice about it. Personally I would avoid the gel caps and the majority of the companies I have called have said that gel caps are not gluten free. The caplet forms tend to be the safest.

It can take longer than 6 months for antibodies to drop to the normal range,  My DGP IgA took a few years as I got stricter and stricter about being gluten free  But having symptoms again could also mean you’re getting some gluten in your diet.

Hi, I just had my 6 month check after being diagnosed Celiac 6 months ago.  All of my panel numbers were normal except: Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA (It is 31 with high being over 30)  I have also been having symptoms again. Am I not actually being as careful as I think I am or does it take longer than 6 months for this particular test to come back down?  I can't get ahold of my doctor this week as she is out.     Thank you!

That is very strange, because it looks to me like two very different test results, but for the same test! It's definitely time to contact your doctor for clarity on this.

Same day which is strange to me.

Scott, thank you SO MUCH for this!! She has been through so much in the last three years as we've tried to track down answers. This language will definitely help me help her to reframe.
