I Had A Beer In A Public Place!

Guess what I did today? I went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg with the family and I couldn't believe it when I saw RedBridge beer behind the counter! I was so excited. It was before the counter opened, so I sat near enough that I could see when it opened, and as soon as that sign turned to open - I was the first customer.

And I had a beer with my turkey leg (BG had sent me some gluten-free options for dining), and I don't know why, but it was so significant to me. I hadn't done that since October 2001.

And for those of you who have not tried Redbridge yet, it was quite tasty. I have had Bards Tale, Rampona Valley, and Grist previously, but I think Redbridge is the best by far.

Well, just wanted to share my special day with everyone.

Gina

That is so awesome! I am going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this summer, and I will contact them to get a gluten free foods list like you did, it didn't even occur to me that they may have one.

Very cool. It took me 3 years of trying to get that list. So if you don't get a response before you need it, let me know and I'll send you what they sent me.

This is great. We have an annual pass to BGW. Love Apollo's Chariot, Loch Ness, and Alpengiest.

Hey Richard,

We have passes too. Enjoy the new "Griffon" before you have turkey legs, BBQ chicken, and Redbridge!

Gina,

I actually had the same experience (PF Changs in Richmond, Va) about a month ago. I had been drinking Redbridge since it came out last December but had not found it while dining out until recently. I can appreciate how nice it is to have a meal and a beer.

Tom,

That's good to know. I wonder if PF Change in Virginia Beach would be as good? I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

Yep my dad says (I don't drink) that Redbridge tastes kind of like Corona to him. A few restaurants where I live offer Redbridge as a beer option.

I see you are in New Hampshire. Merrimack, NH is the only AB location that produces Redbridge at the present time. I just read something on an NPR website that makes reference to the brewing process and how they make a batch every other week. According to the article the line shuts down for a period of time so it can be cleaned before starting the process. I would not be surprised if it is in more resturants there.

I would like a copy of the list Busch Gardens sent to you. Would you mind sending it to me? My email address is aasmith@net-change.com. If you have access to a fax, my fax # is (252)384-4800. We're going this weekend and I would really appreciate it!

Can you get it sped up crossing the border to Canada? Have heard lots about this beer and wanting to try it. Maybe Christmas? (Note I don't mention the year!)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

@Jmartes71, What a stressful journey!  I'm so glad you found your way here.   Have you been checked for nutritional deficiencies?  Doctors don't recognize vitamin deficiency symptoms.  Which supplements are you taking?  Just herbal ones or vitamins?

Do you consume dairy? Have you recently had an infection or cold? Do you have digestive symptoms?   Do you eat processed gluten free foods? What is your Vitamin D level?

@lizzie42, How are your daughter's bowel movements?  Does she have gas, diarrhea or constipation?  Does her squeezing feeling move around in her abdomen or is it consistently in one spot?  Is she dehydrated? How much fruit does she eat?  Fruit juices? I'd recommend cutting out the cheese for a while, till you get it sorted.
