Got Sick

For the past 2 weeks, I've been in too many bad places to eat. Relatives, a wedding reception, going out to eat and a graduation party. All of this finally caught up with me last night. I've never had the D as a symptom, but last night I did. I was trying to be so careful. I'm sure I got CC and also ate too much fruit (figured it was the safest). I ate very careful today. I had a bowl of rice for lunch. A rice bar for breakfast with tea. For dinner I had a baked potato. Tried to have chicken, but only ate a few bites. Now I'm starving, but not sure what to eat if you know what I mean. Any ideas? Any thing I think of just doesn't seem appetizing if that makes sense.

Thank you and I am feeling better. I finally ate a semi normal dinner. I just have to remember to not go hungry to these functions. I even got the suggestion to pick off the breading on something that was also laying in a bed of pasta!!! I didn't go for that one. This was a suggestion from a person that has an epi pen because she is allergic to latex.

Good one for not going for that suggestions. Picking off the breading isn't the answer. Perhaps you can bring your own little dish of food to eat.

As far as I know and I have made severalonline searches, celiac disease disease has not been recognized as a cause of migraines or any eye problems. What I wrote must have been confusing.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
