Jules Thin Crust Pizza Expanding!

Some of you know Jules Thin Crust in Doylestown (Bucks County PA) has a gluten-free pizza .(They also now sell their crust or dough, too) ... I may have already posted this, but I'm so excited!

They are scheduled to open a new location in Newtown, PA in October! (Newtown in the 2nd exit in PA as you're traveling South on 95).

AND they are making plans to open one in Flemington, NJ before Dec 08.

Their website is www.julesthincrust.com Check it out! The only toppings that are not gluten-free are the BBQ sauce and their sausage.

We travel to Doylestown now to get it, but it's about 20-30 minutes away.....Newtown is 5 minutes from my house! Yippee!

Thanks for sharing, I am abut 2 hrs from Jules and we are going to make the trip one day to try the pizza. I always hear great things about it.

I just got back from a trip to Philadelphia and I made sure to go to Jules, even though our hotel was over 30 minutes away. My husband and kids were making comments like"this better be worth it", "how good can it be if they have gluten free" etc. They LOVED the pizza!! My husband even tried some of mine and ended up eating 3 pieces. (you have to order a medium pie if it's gluten free, not by the slice) I took the rest back to the hotel and ate it the next day. I was in heaven.!! Now don't laugh at me, I live on Long Island and have yet to try Mama's Pizza, which I read so much about here. I don't know if they will be able to top Jules. I'll have to give it a try.

      Yes, I would be good with the diagnosis. While NCGS isn't a malabsorptive disease like celiac disease, inflammation and restricted diets can impact Vitamin D levels. Recovery from either disease requires avoiding gluten. celiac disease may take a longer recovery than NCGS because in celiac disease there is intestional damage to the cilia that has...

      Yes, if you are convinced gluten is causing you problems then it would seem to come down to NCGS but you may also have other intolerances.

      There are huge categories of gluten-free foods, are there any particular types of foods that you are trying to find?

      Ended up demanding HLA and I’m negative for both. So assuming this is NCGs now? PCP seems unsure and GI is referring to genetics which I don’t get. about to lose my mind

      Yes, I would be good with the diagnosis.  While NCGS isn't a malabsorptive disease like celiac disease, inflammation and restricted diets can impact Vitamin D levels.  Recovery from either disease requires avoiding gluten.  celiac disease may take a longer recovery than NCGS because in celiac disease there is intestional damage to the cilia that has to self repair in addition to the nutritional deficiencies.   Nonceliac Gluten Sensitivity Dr. Weston Price's research in the 1930s showed that diets rich in minerals and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D3, K2) promoted well-mineralized teeth, while deficiencies led to weaker enamel. Fatty liver, Intermittent diarrhea, Severe abdominal distension Choline deficiency causes abnormal deposition of fat in the liver, which results in a condition called nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. In some people, choline deficiency causes muscle damage. https://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/other-nutrients/choline    Choline is a large part if the bile salts for fat digestion, Acetycholine, a neural transmitter, mitochondria membrane structure, and along with folate, B12, and B6 recycles homocysteine  High homocysteine can damage artery linings. Low vitamin D levels are associated with increased symptoms of depression and anxiety,  autoimmune diseases and most of your symptoms.
