Milk Reaction

I have been gluten free for 34 days now and feel a little better. No joint pains, less fatigue, able to sleep, etc. I started the Casein free diet 9 days ago and lost a couple of pounds but really haven't felt too much different. I did break out on my face when I started the CF and it is slowly getting better. So, I was thinking that maybe I was not intolerant to casein. Last night I made taco salad and used McCormick Original Taco Seasoning which is gluten-free but it did say in the ingredients milk. I ate it anyway. Today, I feel yucky. I am tired, retained 3 lbs overnight, and my knees are hurting.

Is this possible? Could this have happened because of the milk ingredients?

I am very new at this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Michelle

It certainly could be the milk.

Sometimes the response to eliminating a food takes time or one just sees a subtle change. But then you have some of the eliminated food and BANG. At least this was my experience with soy.

Of course, your reaction could be something else.

Sounds like you shouldn't have milk.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
