Ebay Christmas Shopping - Fryer

Hello Everyone! I'm relatively new here, and this is my first posting. My boyfriend has Celiac. I want to get him a deep fryer for Christmas and I've been e-bay shopping for a deal. If I get one thats been barely used will it be safe? can i clean it to the point where he'll be able to use it worry free or should I only look at new ones?

There is no such thing as a worry free used deep fryer. I suggest a new worry free fryer. ;)

Due to cross contamination potential, I will not buy or take hand me down any kitchen gadget or baking dish or glassware or utensils or table settings, etc. that was pre-used (even slightly). Not worth the risk.

      Blood Test for Celiac wheat type matters?

      I'm not saying that some celiacs won't need it, but it should be done under a doctor's supervision because it can cause lots of problems in some people.

      I also noticed I get debilitating migraines when I smell gluten, wheat and its not taken seriously when it affects one in every way.Im still begging to properly be heard.I also noticed tolerance level is down the drain with age and life changes. I have been told by incompetent medical that im not celiac or that sensitive. Diagnosed in 1994 by gi biopsy gluten...

Iodate is reduced in the gastrointestinal tract and absorbed as iodide [2,5]."  That would certainly include malabsorption of Iodine due to Celiac Disease with resultant Iodine Deficiency.       Wheatwacked, are you speaking of the use of potassium bromide and and azodicarbonamide as dough modifiers being controlling factor for what? Do you refer to celiac reactions to gluten or thyroid disease, kidney disease, GI cancers?
