My 3 year old son & hubby were just diagnosed a few weeks ago with Celiacs... so I'm just starting out. I wanted to make some fudge & saw all the great recipes in the post a few below mine... but I was curious if all the chocolate chips that I can get at the store are gluten free? nestle? Same with the marshmallows & the marshmallow creme? Thanks for any help you can give me. I wanted to make some ASAP to give them some special treats tonight & tomorrow! I'm 9 months pregnant so a lot of baking is out of the question right now... fudge is simple! Thank you! :-)

If you list the ingredients someone could tell you if they are gluten free.

Off the top of my head, you could use Nestle Chocolate Chips and Kraft Marshmallows--both are gluten-free and both companies will list any gluten on the package.

You can never assume that a whole catagory of foods (say, chocolate chips) is gluten-free--you always need to read the label and if necessary call the manufacturer.

Of course you can always check on here--chances are someone will know a brand to recommend. :)

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
