Situation: I am on boards, reading, responding making new threads and "BOOM" I have to stop to sign in again. Ok, I sign in again and after reading and responding like usual, "BOOM" I have to stop to sign in again. Ok, I sign in again and after reading and responding like usual, "BOOM" I have to sign in all over again.

Is this a new function of the board that after a certain amount of time (let's say 10 minutes) the member has to sign in again? This has been going on for the past few weeks now.

Thank you Deb, this has been happening to me for months and I was told it's my computer and I know it's not. It does not happen to me in any other forum, never! Only here--it has to be a glitch here. I used to stay signed in to this forum for months at a time and never have a problem, now I can't stay signed in for one entire session. I find the same problems you are talking about and it is very aggravating. There are times, I just leave, it's just not worth the bother. Sometimes, it doesn't even bring you back to where you were, sometimes you lose everything. So, please Scott, could you fix the glitch.

This happened to me last year--and it lasted for weeks. I would type a post, and when I'd hit "post", I would be directed to sign in. Very frustrating....

It's happened to a few others that I know of--no one knows why, or what causes it.

In my case, it just stopped one day and hasn't happened since. I did nothing special to cause or stop it that I know of.

Wish I could be more help :)

One night a few months ago, this happened to me alot in one night like you described one sitting and I posted in this thread about it....it was very frustrating.

The other night it happened again.....it bothers me!

This happens to me frequently, mostly when I'm posting a long reply. I have found that if I click the Preview Post button every few minutes while I am posting I don't get kicked off. I was thinking it maybe had to do with being inactive for so many minutes and that that would basically log you off. But it sounds like it happens to people very sporadicly so I'm not really sure what the cause is.

But for the most part, clicking that button every so often when I'm taking a while to reply keeps me from having to log back in and possibly losing my post when I finish typing and click Add Reply.

I made some changes today that should solve these log in issues (cookie issues)...please let me know if they continue.

Take care,

Scott

She used to take supplements, but her abdominal pain is so debilitating that she hasn't been able to continue.  Her primary care team has been suggesting liquid supplements rather than pill form to help.  They just drew a lot of blood Friday and we are slowly getting all that work back.  I will definitely check into thiamine!  Thanks!

They have not done that yet.   We are looking at some other treatments to help. And you are correct.  The tickborne illness has been a wild ride.  Our whole family has been battling different tickborne illnesses.  Its expensive and exhausting.

I cannot tolerate it at all - triggers burning and nausea, ditto aspirin.  Here in the UK I take Paracetamol.

For back pain, I take a combination of Cobalamine B12, Pyridoxine B 6, and Thiamine B 1 (in the form Benfotiamine), which have an analgesic effect.  These three B vitamins together work way better than those over the counter pain relievers.  Theses are water soluble B vitamins that are easily excreted via the kidneys if not needed.  Thiamine will also help the nausea. Interesting Reading...
