Sorry, I didn't have alot of time to cruise through this forum for info on glutin free restaurants in Washington state.

Is there any glutin free Restaurants in WA? Looking for mid to up scale place, no fast food please. Looking to take this good lookin gal out for some good food and laughs. Thanks! ;)

I'm not sure where you are in Washington, but there are plenty in the Portland metro area. Here's a link to a Portland GIG blog with links to gluten-free restaurants on the right side of the page. I hope this helps. :) Some are more upscale. I can just imagine my son's dating costs when he gets to dating age. :rolleyes:

There is a GREAT upscale gluten free restaurant in Madison Park in Seattle. It is called Impromptu Wine Bar.

They do serve glutinous food as well, but they had a celiac sufferer come into their kitchen and give them some advice. I had no problems eating there. Good food.

Portland, of course, is the place to be for Celiac, but alas......there are some others, but Impromptu is the only mid-to upsacle place I can think of. I believe, though, actually, that Madison Park Cafe has a gluten free portion on their menu. They are vegetarian. Good luck.

I live in Bonney Lake WA. Puyallup, Tacoma Sumner, Auburn and Enumclaw are around me.

Yeah, I know a lot less down there. My folks live in Tacoma, and my step-dad was diagnosed with DH, so they have to buy gluten-free stuff. I think they go to Fred Meyers and a healthfood store with a lady's name, I forget what. But they just go out to eat willy nilly. He's still on Dapsone, so he wouldn't notice if he were getting glutened.

Emory's on Silver Lake in Everett has a gluten free menu.

At the Alderwood Mall in Lynwood is P.F. Chang's. They have a gluten free menu.

Near the mall is The Old Spaghetti Factory. They have gluten free pasta. Not sure about the other locations. I don't think they all have the gluten-free pasta.

Also near the mall is Red Robin. They have a few gluten-free items.

There are Outback Steakhouses in several locations. I know of one in Bothell and one in North Seattle.

In Bothell is Yucatan, a Mexican restaurant that caters to people with food allergies.

There are Wendy's in several locations and they have some gluten-free items.

Do you know where the gluten-free menu for Claim Jumper's is? The only one I could find online was outdated, and at that it didn't appear there was much on it.

There is an Outback in Puyallup and Tacoma.They have a gluten-free menu. There is also a place on the Tacoma waterfront that has a gluten-free menu. I haven't been there, but it's called Woody's.

Z Tejas in Bellevue Square (mid to upscale Mexican food) has a gluten free menu. Also, if Mora's ice cream is still there, they are supposed to have gluten-free ice cream.

Yes I do wheel, once a month if possable. Mainly Evans Creek or Elbe. What about you?

As far as a menu from the Outback. I had to email them. If I remember I will post a copy. It is at home, I am at work right now.

The Outback is supposed to have a copy at the restaurant. If they don't ask for the manager to print you out one. The menu is pretty good. The Down under thunder brownie is gluten-free it is made with pecan flour. It is super yummy.

I'm up North so I go to Reiter and Walker Valley. Oddly enough when I lived down South I only went to Elbe once and have never been to Evans Creek.

I was doing the mothers day thing today, so I will try to remember to post the Outback menu on Sunday.

I just did Walker about a month ago. That place was cool and would be even better if it had more trail. I really liked the express way B)

I got an email back from Don, the owner of "The Rock Wood Fired Pizza". He mentioned he would give the gluten free pizza a shot if he could get a good turn out. Or he also offered to make the pizza you want if you wanna bring in your own dough.

I ate there before I was told I couldn't any longer. They make some really good pizzas. The best I have ever tasted.

Does anyone know if the white sauce on pizzas gluten free????????????????

OOoppppssss :rolleyes: I have the menu for the Outback not Claim Jumpers. I do know that I emailed them and they did reply to me with the food options to choose from. Of course it wasn't alot of choices but still worth the evening out. Here is some contact info for them.

I believe I will be in Naches that weekend if everything goes right. The express way is a fun little climb. No cheating and taking the bypass! LOL

I just did Walker about a month ago. That place was cool and would be even better if it had more trail. I really liked the express way B)

      I'm very confused... My blood test came out negative, I checked all antibodies. I suppose my Total IgA levels are normal (132 mg/dl), so the test should be reliable. Still, I'm not relieved as I can't tolerate even a single biscuit. I need to talk to my doctor about whether a duodenal biopsy is necessary. But it is really possible to have intestinal damage despite having a seronegative results? I have really strong symptoms, and I don't want to keep skipping university lectures or being bedridden at home.

      They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

      In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

      This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.
