Does Lorka's bread recipe work in the bread machine??

Please share your best sandwhich bread recipe for the BREAD MACHINE --

A mix is fine, if you know a good one. ( I don't like Pamela's-- too sweet )

Thanks so much ! ! :)

Hi Cee Cee,

I make Laurie's Gluten Free Flax bread most often. Her recipe is on the recipezaar.com site # 190906. I didn't have good luck with Lorka's bread, unfortunately.

What kind of bread machine do you have?

I use a Cuisinart bread machine with a gluten free setting. It makes a 1.5# loaf. Take it out 15 minutes before it is supposed to be done unless you prefer a really dark crust. For the 1 1/4 cups gluten free flour I use a combination of brown rice flour, sorghum and tapioca flours. The recipe calls for either 1 cup of water or milk. Mine comes out much softer when I use whole milk. For the oil I use olive oil, but obviously, use whatever you have on hand.

This is not a sweet bread. It's great for sandwiches . Even my non-Celiac teenage daughter loves this one.

Good luck!

Bev

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
