God how did u do it, its soooo hard, I never cheat but ive been accidentally glutened thousands of times it seems. Always right when Im starting to improve too. Most frustrating thing ever.

Congrats on your year! I think I am going to have to search through the forums for your recipies since everyone is saying how good they are!

I have been gluten free for 2 months and it is good to hear about people who are doing so well with it and to keep that as the positive when I am having a rough day!

WAY TO GO and glad you are feeling better!

Gee and all this time I thought you were gluten-free forever. You really need to write a cookbook with all those great, interesting, wonderful, delicious, creative, descriptive...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...recipes! B)

Meleficent, the first 6 months I found were all about trial and error. What you can and can't tolerate. Then the next 6 is about slowly putting your knowledge and efforts to the grindstone and then you just keep chugging! It's such a balancing act! HAHAHA :)

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

      Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?

      Thankyou so much for your words.Its a hard battle when a supposed well known hospital whose celiac " specialist " has down played me because my colon looks fine and put it in my medical and so pcp doesn't take seriously. In their eyes we all carry that gene.Im having alot of bad days trying to be positive because of it.
