hy there,i've been having nausea almost every day for 5 years.it strted like a food poisoning that never cured.i have done all tests possible and all came out normal.i've had food alergy tests but not gluten alegy test.Last doctor i have seen performed an endoscopy and told me i have duodenal ulcer and saw something that made him suggest i might have a celiac condition.i'm suffering from nausea, lack of energy, epigastric and chest pain and gas, even if my ulcer heald some weeks ago.the thing is he took a tissue sample from my stomach but not for celiac disease testing.in stead he suggested i should have some blood tests. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE CELIAC and the tests to come out normal.is biopsy a must?i'm only 20 years old and it would be a miracle after all these years to have a diagnosis :(

If your doctor saw changes suggestive of celiac during the endo I would want to know why he didn't do the biopsies he needed while he was in there. Perhaps he wants another payment for another biopsy? Has he done any of the blood testing? Although blood tests are not conclusive if negative, they are when they are positive, even a low positive. With the doctor already having seen celiac changes in your scope, even though the idiot didn't take the biopsies, I would get a blood draw for a celiac panel and then do the diet for a few months and see if it helps. No matter what the results of the blood panel do get yourself on the diet. The damage from celiac is distinctive and if the changes can be seen with just the scope chances are really good that you will greatly benefit from being gluten free.

I agree with this post. Can't figure some doctors out!! At least he picked up the changes suggestive of celiac and told you!

Do the five blood tests recommended on this forum if you haven't already. IF you have and have negatrive results, and you don't want another biopsy, you could do Enterolab for some further evidence.

I feel for you. I had h pylori and nausea almost every day for 2 years before diagnosis, and I figured out myself that I might have celiac and did the Enterolab testing on my own. My doctor later apologized for missing this. What helped me was: GFSF plus digestive enzymes. I also used Mastica which is very good for h pylori. DGL (form of licorice) was very soothing. After many months, the nausea has pretty much resolved. However, I still wasn't really healing adequately. The most recent discovery was that I am still not making the enzymes needed to digest carbs. Supplementing with these didn't really help. So I am now on the SCD--and improving quite well. This is a good diet for any intestinal issues, it is very healing. If you don't feel better soon, you might try this for a month and see if you improve.

I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you

Of course my son is on a 100% gluten free diet.  I wish his symptoms were not debilitating as there are right now.  He cannot work, even when a miniscule of cross contamination occurs.  It's not just GI distress, but intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.  It's literally neurological inflammation.  Not to be taken lightly here.  We have sought out many other possible ways to cope during this window of time (8 months!!!!)  without success.   AN-PEP does not help and seems like studies on this are not well researched.  So, we are trying this out because research shows some promising results.  And, all participants showed no cravings afterwards, no signs of addiction.  The patch is different than the oral route such as smoking, vaping, gum, pouch, etc.

Have you tried AN-PEP enzymes, for example, GlutenX (who is a sponsor here)? A lot of research has shown that it can break down small amounts of gluten in the stomach, before it reaches the intestines. It might be a better approach than risking nicotine addiction, and the questionable research around this. I also hope that he’s trying to be 100% Gluten-Free.

Hi all  I was diagnosed Coeliac a few years ago and follow a gluten free diet. The list of foods that I can eat without a problem grows shorter on a weekly basis. [I also have diabetes and asthma also].  BUT the reason I am posting this is because I seem to struggle with nausea quite a lot, which is really quite debilitating, and I was wondering if others suffer from nausea, even if following a gluten free diet.
