Business Dinner Next Week

I have a business dinner with a group of clients next week. The area has a PF changs, outback and a few other places that have gluten-free options. PF changs is always a safe haven for me but since i am taking clients out i feel like i have to let them decide where to eat. i really dont wanna make a big deal out of my food restrictions so would it be ok if i casually suggested a place? my fear is that i will get stuck in an italian restaurant somewhere and wont be able to eat anything. i guess the backup plan is to just order a plain salad but im sure i'll be starving by the time dinner roles around. any suggestions?

You could offer your clients the suggestions of places that you do feel comfortable eating at (PF Changs & Outback).

You could also call around and see if there is an Italian restaurant option that can work with you and your diet. Or something similar for another dining option.

Steakhouse, Asian, Italian - those three sounds like solid options.

I have found luck with many Thai and Mexican restaurants as well and a few Indian establishments (the tandor oven can be a cause for concern - the Naan is cooked on the sides of it, and food in the middle, so be careful for cross contamination).

I think its very polite to offer your guests/clients a few suggestions but you should be comfortable dining there as well.

Hey Jason,

You have a right to eat as well!!! I agree with melmak5, give some options you are comfortable with, you don't even have to make a big deal about it. You have provided choices and they all would be within your comfort zone!! I say you can't go wrong.

Let us know how it goes, we all can use pointers from others.

Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too!       Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
