Red Robin Has A Gluten-free Menu!

You have to ask for it, but they do have one! I live in Louisville, KY, and the Red Robin (at Mall St Matthews) also cooks their french fries in a designated fryer. You will have to order them plain, since somehow their garlic and Red Robin seasonings contain gluten, but I'm thrilled enough just to be able to eat "normal" comfort food. :)

When we were there a few months ago, there was a shaker of seasoning on the table. It did contain soy but it didn't appear to contain gluten.

I had the same thought. But they could use another seasoning for their hamburgers.

If they tell me not to eat it, I'm not eating it. Red Robin has not made me sick yet, and I have no plans for deviating from their gluten-free menu.

Of course, I haven't explored the soy/corn issue yet, so my occasional RR venture may be out too.

That's great news for my spouse! I haven't been there in ages. Just a heads up to anyone avoiding MSG - this place uses a lot of it, and I am pretty sure it is IN the burgers by default. That's why I stopped going, but things change, so check it out and at least enjoy the fries!

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
