i usually get Boars Head cold cuts which are gluten-free but i always wondered if other cold cuts have gluten and if there is a chance of cross contamination on the deli slicers

There are some that are not gluten free, Hormel labels their gluten-free varieties and Kraft will clearly label gluten ingredients. Your best bet is to contact the company directly to ask.

As for deli slicers the risk of CC is high. I personally avoid deli products for that reason.

Of course there is a chance of cross contamination on a deli slicer, especially if the deli makes sandwiches. I never buy that kind. Only the prepackaged.

@StuartJ, what brand of gluten-free flour did she use?

Congrats! Can you share the recipe? We just picked up a bread maker from an estate sale and are experimenting.
