Utz Potato Chips

I went to Utz's website and cannot find a store locator. I have never had this chips before but I think I have seen them somewhere way back when (but with so many different chip options I could be mistaken).

I really want to try these, but are they online order only?

I live in Va. and Utz chips are everywhere. Definitely not special order. I think they're national now.

It appears that they might only be in the Northeast part of the US. I know they are local for me since I live near the factory.

Nope. Not national. You can get them in Eastern PA but I was told they are not in Western PA. I am in WA and have to mail order them. I did see a big bag of assorted single serve bags in someone's vehicle but I don't know where they got them from.

UTZ, Great Products!!!.. I live in Maryland and have seen them all over the State. My Daughter lives in Charlotte, NC and can now buy them there....

Yeah, probably an east coast chip for now. I live on Long Island, NY and we have them everywhere. I was in Mich in June and couldn't find them, so I bought a bag of original Kettle chips and got sick! :(

Strange that you can get them almost anywhere -- or anywhere -- in Va. but not in western Pa.

OK, I was wrong about Utz being national. They're everywhere here. They HAVE slowly expanded over the years.

Yes, we have been aware that this can be an issue with mushrooms but as long as they are rinsed thoroughly it should not be a problem since the mushrooms don't actually incorporate the gluten into their cellular structure. For the same reason, one needs to be careful when buying aged cheeses and products containing yeast because of the fact that they are sometimes cultured on gluten-containing substrate.

After a quick web research I learned that these mushrooms are commonly cultivated on a cereal-based medium like wheat bran. I hope that info his helpful to someone.

Incidentally, I don't like quinoa either. Reminds me and smells to me like wet grass seed. When its not washed before cooking it makes me ill because of saponins in the seed coat. Your hesitation to reintroduce gluten is completely understandable — quality of life matters — and many people in your position choose to remain strictly gluten-free and treat it as medically necessary even without formal biopsy confirmation. If and when you’re ready, a physician can help you weigh options like limited gluten challenge, serology history, or documentation as “probable celiac.” What’s clear is that this wasn’t just random IBS — you identified the trigger, and your body has been very consistent in its response.
