Stuffing For Thanksgiving/christmas Turkeys

Hi guys. This is going to be my first holiday season gluten free, so I am a little unsure about how to adapt the meals. I'm not too worried about the turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc... I think I've figured out those. I was wondering, though, if there is anyone who knows how to make a good gluten free stuffing for to go in the turkey?? I'll be at my moms house and I've had to do the cooking for the last couple years, so I just need to know if it's possible to do?? We used to use the stouffers crutons, soaked them in chicken broth, added celery, onion, salt, pepper, etc... This has always been one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving meals!! Anyone have any alternatives?

Thanks so much!!!

Sally

You could make your own cro

I make my own croutons (either cornbread or regular white bread), and then make them as you normally would. You will do great!

I usually buy a loaf of the EnerG bread, whatever variety is cheapest and use that. It is lacking in favor as a sandwich bread but great texture for breadcrumbs and stuffing.

My aunt made the best turkey dressing/stuffing. Here's the recipe, I will use Udi bread this year since I have discovered it last week. Love that bread.

You could also lay out some gluten free bread that has been cubed, let it dry or toast it in the oven and then proceed with your recipe. Maybe add some spices if you would like.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
