I've created a new set of recipe blogs, one for each course.

No need to trawl through recipes to find what you want.

These are the Course/blogs:

Snack food

Starters

Soups

Side dish

Main Course

Dessert

Quick Recipes

Baking

This is where you come in.

I'm looking for snappy titles for each blog that are maybe, a play on words.

For example Starters could be 'Your Starter for 10' (from a UK TV show University Challenge)

Baking I've more or less settled on 'Bringing home the Baking'. ( from a UK expression that means the main wage earner, Brining home the bacon)

Suggestions for all are welcome.

Best Regards,

David

This is what I have so far, from other forums

Snacks: 'snack attack', 'Pac-a-snack', and my favourite 'Snackered'

Side Dish: 'on the side', sideways, off-side and Salads aside.

Starters: starters orders, let's start and just for starters (kinda like that one)

Soup: Souper Douper, Souper Bowl (The USA will love that one)

Main Course: The Main Event and Main Line.

Dessert: Desserted, Just Desserts, Sweet Treat and the one I like so far 'Sweet Surrender'

Quick Recipes: only one but I love it 'Flash Food'

Nothing for Baking so far I might just have to use my own suggestion 'Bringing home the Baking.

Please don't stop, keep them coming.

Best Regards,

David.

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
