No HFCS Pepsi Products

I know a lot of people have problems with high fructose corn syrup. Pepsi is doing " throw back" pop made with " real sugar!". Pepsi, Mt Dew and Dr Pepper. :P

Disclaimer: Yes, I know that they still aren't good for you. Not suggesting you drink these unless you have searched your inner most being and decided that these products are right for you. ;)

Thats good news, especially considering this new article dr.oz was talking about on hfcs and cancer!

I spotted some of the Dr. Pepper at a Target a few months ago and decided to try it. It's called Heritage Dr. Pepper. It's the best soda I've ever had. :D I haven't been able to find any since, however. Apparently it's it high demand and short supply. Last I looked online people were selling 12 packs for $25 each. That's a little crazy. I wish they would just change all of their products over to real sugar instead of the HFCS crap. I only drink soda when I have a tummy ache (carbonation helps me with the gas), but now there's no way I can drink soda with HFCS. Not only is it bad for my health, but it tastes awful after having some of the real sugar stuff.

It is at the Target here in Kansas city. Also, see if your grocery sells "Mexican" CocaCola. Ours sell it by individual glass bottles. Pricey this way but if you just want one occasionally it's OK.

The "heritage" Dr Pepper is widely available in the DFW area, but TX is the home of Dr Pepper so that shouldn't come as a surprise.

And just a bit of off-topic clarification - Dr Pepper is NOT a Pepsi product. The fact that Pepsi has the throwback Pepsi/Mountain Dew is not related to the "throwback" Dr Pepper. Dr Pepper (a product of Dr Pepper Snapple Group) just celebrated 125 years and they decided to do a limited run with sugar. Obviously, they are also probably wanting to see the reaction to the sugar version, but it has nothing to do with Pepsi or their reformulated products.

It should also be noted that HFCS, although not good for you in my opinion, is still cheaper as a raw material. There is a reason why these companies stopped using sugar a long time ago. ;)

Folks that really like the idea and taste of Pepsi with sugar not HFCS should contact them. The bottles are marked 'limited time only' so it would be nice if we can deluge them with requests to keep it and they listen.

I bought a bottle of Pepsi Throwback at Wal Mart outside of Houston. It was really good, but I've not been able to find it anywhere since.

Yes, I, too, have osteoporosis from years of malabsorption, too.  Thiamine and magnesium are what keep the calcium in place in the bones.  If one is low in magnesium, boron, selenium, zinc, copper, and other trace minerals, ones bone heath can suffer.  We need more than just calcium and Vitamin D for strong bones.  Riboflavin B 2, Folate B 9 and Pyridoxine B 6 also contribute to bone formation and strength.   Have you had your thyroid checked?  The thyroid is important to bone health as well.  The thyroid uses lots of thiamine, so a poorly functioning thyroid will affect bone heath.

That sounds so very likely in my case! I will absolutely ask my doctor on my next bone check coming up in March... Thanks a lot!

Calcium levels as measured in the blood can be quite deceiving as the body will rob calcium from the bones to meet demands for it by other bodily functions. Also, supplementing with calcium can be counterproductive as it tends to raise gut pH and decrease absorption. More often than not, the problem is poor absorption to begin with rather than deficiency of intake amounts in the diet. Calcium needs an acidic environment to be absorbed. This is why so many people on PPIs develop osteoporosis. The PPIs raise gut pH. And some people have high gut PH for other reasons. Low pH equates to a more acidic environment whereas high pH equates to a more basic (less acidic) environment.

Kind thanks for all this valuable information! Since my Folate was/is low and also my Calcium, there IS a chance I am low in B vitamins... My doctor only measured the first two, oh and Zinc as I has twisted her arm and guess what, that was mega low too. So who knows, until I get myself tested properly, what else I am deficient in... I did a hair mineral test recently and it said to avoid All sources of Calcium. But this is confusing for me as my Ca is so low and I have osteoporosis because of this. It is my Adjusted Ca that is on the higher side and shouldn't be. So am not sure why the mineral test showed high Ca (well, it was medium in the test but relative to my lowish Magnesium, also via hair sample, it was high I was told). But anyway, thanks again for the VitB download, I will look into this most certainly!

Hello good afternoon, I was wondering if anyone has ever brought their anti-allergy pills? I have been wanting to use their Cetirizine HCI 10mg. They are called HealthA2Z and distributed by Allegiant Health.I’m also Asthmatic and these allergies are terrible for me but I also want to be sure they don’t have any sort of gluten compound.    I have tried calling them but to no avail. Has anyone ever used them? If so, did you had any problems or no problems at all?    thank you
