I haven't seen any on the message boards, but thanks to the return of football season I see a couple every time I turn on the TV. I alternate between "Who would eat that artery-clogging, gut-rotting, muscle-wasting garbage??" and a Bart Simpson "Mmmm... Pizza."

Our advertising policy is here.

More and more pizza establishments are offering gluten-free options, so a pizza ad is not necessarily out of place. I don't know if the company in question has a gluten-free crust option.

If you feel an advertisement is inconsistent with the policy, please provide specifics to Scott (screen name admin).

So the ad is actually on the celiac.com homepage, which is what my bookmark is. I was under the impression they didn't have a gluten free pizza crust, but maybe they do! Pizza is my achilles heel.

I agree with the previous poster being bombarded by pizza ads during football! So when I went to the store today, I bought gluten-free pizza makings :D

Is it the blue google smurfs? I'm not sure they count as legit advertisers.

Does it say 'ads by google' or 'celiac.com sponsor'?

I say we all bombard Papa John's with requests for gluten free pizza. If they don't have it yet, maybe they will start making it. :)

We can do better than Papa Johns.

Be careful what you ask for... you may get it. Mellow Mushroom now has gluten-free pizza option. Very expensive and not good at all. I'll stick to making my own for now.

Really? I thought Mellow Mushroom's gluten-free pizza was yummy! But then again it was only my second time eating a gluten free pizza in a restaurant. I have made some good pizza at home, but I'll go to MM again if I'm ever in an area with one. For future reference, MM uses "Still Riding" Pizza crusts, so if Papa John's or any other pizza place starts offering gluten-free pizza you can just ask them where they get their crust. Because if you didn't like Mellow Mushroom, you won't like any other place that used Still Riding as a supplier.

I had called Papa Johns when I was helping my sister move. They were very UNhelpful in trying to determine if anything on their menu is gluten-free. I was trying to see if even their wing would be okay as many are. NOT a good experience. (My local pub uses The gluten-free Pantry's french bread/pizza crust and they do a YUMMY job with it!!!

I'll have to second that. My pizza was not good at all. I ate one whole piece only because my parents took us out to eat. My first bite felt like a brick in my stomach. My 9yr old son loved his.

Thank you.. Christina My anxiety is through the roof.  I think it was from eggs.  I really don't know because my eyes feel sore. Like I'm allergic to them.  I was defient in B12.   My heart is pounding and it won't stop.  Not sure what to do.   I don't have much support other than this forum.    Colleen

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
