Can you describe the process you're using? Are you talking about native emoticons on the forum? Or ones you're trying to use from elsewhere?

You need to insert image location: , not copy and paste the location.

Ones I'm trying to use from another website. I'll paste an example here:

(rock on) it shows up in the post when I write(and it's here now while I'm editing typos) it but when it's on the forum it's the http// address. They're from Yahoo Messenger.I see a lot of people using other emoticons. Also graphics in their posts. I have a iMac and use Safari.

Go to the website that has the emoticon, right click on it, choose 'copy image location', then the little picture icon in this editor box, and paste the location.

OK, Lets try it. ARRRGGGH. When I right click it's not giving me the option. It might be because it's Yahoo Messenger and I might not have the right downloading ability. I'm going to a different website.

Loey, by the looks of it, you're clicking the link button and inserting it as a link.

Ensure you're using rather than and it should work.

When viewing the code, before posting it should look like this:

[img=http://www.test.com/test.gif]
