Teff Wraps

I bought a package of these and daughter loves them.

The problem?

I can't remember where I bought them! I looked at Safeway and Albertsons. Both carry that brand but not that item. Either that or I looked in the wrong place. I can't even remember which section they were located in but I think it was with the tortillas. Central Market does not carry that brand.

I do shop sometimes at Fred Meyer, PCC and Top Foods but I am pretty sure I did not get them there because I haven't been there in a while. Maybe QFC? I am in Western Washington. Is there anyone in this area that has seen them or bought them? I am down to one.

Thanks!

I checked the online store finder for the company and this is all they had Open Original Shared Link You could also call or email the company and see if they have a list of individual stires by state or city.

You could order them online Open Original Shared Link is you can't find them in the stores.

Sorry can't be of more help. Hope you find them.

I know I could get them online but I don't want to go that route. Calling them probably won't help. They would know who carries their products but not which ones.

I've gotten them at Weis Markets but sadly have realized that I can't have Teff....too much fiber for me!

Our local Kroger keeps them in the veggie section, in a cold case around the packaged salads, refrigerated slad dressing, fruit smoothies and such. I wouldn't dismiss calling the company so quickly. I find that they can usually tell me exactly which locations in my area carry product X. A call to the store will tell you if they are in stock and where in the store they are located. I don't have the energy to run around town on wild good hunts so often make use of my phone;)

What I've noticed is that these wraps in particular do not always STAY in stock. They may well have been at the stores you revisited the first time, but not the second. Ask the customer service desk about them (at the stores you might have gotten them from). They can order them for you in particular, in most cases.

Thanks! That will be good to know if I ever go back to PA.

Ohhh... That could be. I will check again. Thanks!

I don't think you have these out west, but it's good info for anyone reading this thread . . . I've gotten them at Meijer.

Thanks! No. We don't have them.

I found them! They were at Albertsons and they were on sale. Since they don't expire till March, I bought three packs.

I almost didn't see them. Someone had stuck a package of low carb tortillas on top of the stack. But I saw the words "gluten free" sticking out. I know they were not there when I looked before because that spot was empty. They were with the tortillas (not the gluten-free foods), next to the multigrain wraps.

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
