If your going to get tested for celiac you need to keep eating gluten until your tests are finished. Did the doctor who did the colonoscopy mention internal hemmies? They can cause bleeding. Do mention the bleeding to the doctor. In my case I bleed when I get glutened but it is good to rule out anything else. That may mean another scope if it has been awhile since the others were done.

I agree with raven,,, be sure to rule everything else out first.

One of my reactions to soy is bleeding, even with slight cross contamination

Thanks. Im starting to eat normal agains so i can get tested. Neither of my doctors said anything about internal hemmies. Only thing he said was IBS and possible Proctitis. The doctor that did the colonoscopy twice for me didnt seem to care much about the bleeding, just gave me pills that didnt work. Im trying a new doctor hoping he finds something to help me. Im sure this doctor will want to do another colonoscopy too.

Eating gluten free is just helping my stomach so much i was really hoping it would stop the bleeding too. I noticed last night i ate some bread and late last night and this morning i just have a cramp like pain and been bleeding even more.. thats what makes me think its something working together? idont know?? its just hard to deal with and figure it out this young.

You can't heal your intestine overnight by not eating gluten. It takes time. You also may think you are gluten free but not really be gluten free. Gluten is in many different foods where you would not expect it.

I had bleeding also but it did stop after I had been gluten-free for awhile. I am not talking days but months. That doesn't mean it will take that long for you, and it doesn't mean you won't be getting improvements everyday as you go along each day on the diet.

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
