Hopefully one day we'll see this and Chex and a host of other things available in Canada...especially Lea & Perrins Worcestershire!

huh. At my school they have rice crispies over with the chex with a huge "GLUTEN FREE" label on them.

Should I tell someone they aren't gluten-free yet...?

considering that's the only gluten-free options available in the caf... (I don't have a meal plan)

Current Rice Krispies are not gluten free as they have malt in them.

Are they just a rice cereal or are they actually the Rice Krispies brand? If they are the latter it should be moved.

I'll have a friend check for me and maybe talk to the appropriate people.

If I were a freshman or something I would fight for celiac-friendly caf. But I'm a senior living off campus and don't care enough to do it. But still if it's mislabeled that is bad.

the gluten-free rice krispies will have gluten free on the front of the box--any other are not gluten-free!!! Please check the box because the new gluten-free ones are not out as yet!!!!

And my understanding is that these are a SEPARATE and NEW product. The old non-gluten-free ones will still be out there, but they will have a gluten-free version too.

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

Thanks for the resource! I will check it out!

You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/
