Not only do they taste amazing, but they are cheap! About $2.50 for bag!! I got mine at walmart they were next to the regular Snyder's pretzles. If your walmart doesn't carry them yet, make sure you request the manager order some! Now that some of the mainstream brands are coming out with gluten free products, the only gluten free companies will eventually be forced to drop thier prices, which will be great for us!!

I've heard the gluten-free Synder's pretzels are out there, but I haven't found them yet. What state did you find them?

Yes Snyder's found them first shopping trip gluten-free. Live on Long Island (NY) found them @ Shop n Shop, also Target has them in our area.

i've gotten them down here in NC at Whole Foods. They are much cheaper than glutino, and I think they taste way better. 10X better.

Our local Wal-Mart has Snyder's but for me they are "break your teeth" crunchy but then I've had tons of dental work done in my lifetime. I much prefer Glutino Sesame Pretzel Rings. Too yummy to keep on hand though. :P

If your local store stocks regular Snyder's pretzels they should be able to get the gluten free ones for you. Just ask the manager to find out.

I live in the Central Valley of California and so far the only place I have found the Snyder's Gluten-free Pretzels are at SaveMart, and even then it is sort of hit and miss, as not all the SaveMart's in the valley carry them. When I find one that does, we buy all that they have on the shelf! They are cheaper than other gluten-free pretzels we have tried and we like them. They are very crunchy, but not as bad as some of the gluten-free snacks we have tried in the past! And they taste great.

We have only found the gluten-free pretzel sticks, does anyone know if they also make a gluten-free pretzel twist?

There are other Celiac genes. HLA DQ 2 and HLA DQ 8 show up in people from Northern European descent.   People of Mediterranean descent have HLA DQ 7.  People of Asian descent have HLA DQ 9.   There's other Indigenous populations that have other HLA genes that code for Celiac disease.   Are you still having symptoms?   What do you include in your diet?  Are you vegetarian? Are you taking any prescription medication?  Omeprazole?  Metformin?   Do you have anemia?  Thyroid problems? Are you taking any vitamins or herbal supplements?

There are eight essential B vitamins.  They are all water soluble.  Any excess of B vitamins is easily excreted by the kidneys.   Thiamine is Vitamin B 1.  Thiamine is safe and nontoxic even in high doses.  Benfotiamine and TTFD are forms of Thiamine that the body can utilize very easily.   The form of Thiamine in the supplements you mentioned is Thiamine Mononitrate, a form that the body does not absorb well and does not utilize well.  Only about thirty percent of the amount on the label is actually absorbed in the small intestine.  Less than that can actually be used by the body.  Manufacturers add thiamine mononitrate to their products because it's cheap and shelf-stable.  Thiamine and other B vitamins break down when exposed to light and heat and over time.  Thiamine Mononitrate is a form that does not break down over time sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to buy them.  What makes Thiamine Mononitrate shelf stable makes it difficult for the body to turn into a useable form.  In fact, it takes more thiamine to turn it into a useable form.   Gastrointestinal Beriberi is a localized shortage of Thiamine in the gastrointestinal tract.  High carbohydrate meals can result in gastrointestinal symptoms of Gastric Beriberi.  Fiber is a type of carbohydrate.  So, high fiber/carbohydrate snacks could trigger Gastric Beriberi.   Since blood tests for Thiamine and other B vitamins are so inaccurate, the World Health Organization recommends trying Thiamine and looking for health improvement because it's safe and nontoxic.
