Mine did not turn out so well last night. Any suggestions on the dough part? I used Chebe, and I didn't like it. Trying to master this for the up coming holidays. Thanks!!

We are talking about hot dogs or similar wrapped in crescent rolls right? If so, I have a gluten free crescent roll recipe that I have used sucessfully. I'm at work right now but will post after I get home in the morning.

Oh, in case you were wondering why I asked it is because I grew up knowing pigs in a blanket as cabbage rolls. :P

I made sausages wrapped in biscuit dough last night. They worked fine and were quite delicious. The dough recipe is posted on the thread about biscuits. I used the country coconut recipe, using 1 cup of rice flour and no coconut or starch. The biscuit melts a bit, which wasn't too bad, but the butter might be cut down a bit as well to help with the melting.

Here is a link to the crescent roll recipe I used. I want to say I used the Better Batter flour also. It has been a long time since I make them and I mix my own flour now. I'll have to try it with my own flour blend and see how it turns out.

      The biopsy looks for damage to the mucosal lining of the small bowel from the inflammation caused by celiac disease when gluten is ingested. Once you remove gluten from the diet, inflammation subsides and the mucosal lining begins to heal.

We have brought in Dr. Murray, Dr. Fasano, Dr. Green and Dr. elliott. In those many years we may have had 2 doctors attend. We sent them information, with no response. I talked to...

      If you have DH you will likely also want to avoid iodine, which is common in seafoods and dairy products, as it can exacerbate symptoms in some people. This article may also be helpful as it offers various ways to relieve the itch:

      You might also consider a low iodine diet as iodine is know to exacerbate dermatitis herpetiformis. But be careful with that as well as there are health problems that can accrue from iodine deficiency.

      Our support groups in Iowa have tried for years to educate doctors and resource sites like this one.  We have held yearly conferences with continued education classes.   We have brought in Dr. Murray, Dr. Fasano, Dr. Green and Dr. elliott.  In those many years we may have had 2 doctors attend.  We sent them information, with no response.  I talked to my personal doctor and she said their training for Celiac was to show them a skinny man in boxer shorts and a huge stomach.  Saying if you see this, it is Celiac.  If it isn't in their playbook then they don't care.  Most call it an allergy with no mention of our immune system.  There is so much false information on the internet.  Then people don't understand why they can't get well and are acquiring more immune diseases. I mention this site to everyone.  Scott has working hard for the Celiac community.
