OK . . . for all you guys that have been looking for gravy . . .

Today at Whole Foods I saw a product by Imagine Foods. Twas gravy!!! I have never seen that before. It could have been there for years and I just now noticed it. They had several flavours (turkey, beef, mushroom.) Says gluten free on the front of the package.

I typically make my own gravy, but I have seen several requests for gravy in the past and Thanksgiving is rolling around so I thought I would post. If someone has actually tried it, please post with your opinion/critique.

Have you tried it yet? If it's great, send me some, please. Nearest WF is in Raleigh. :(

My local Wegmans started stocking these along with Grainless Baker Seasoned Stuffing Mix around last Thanksgiving. If I want gravy these are the ones I grab. They are really pretty good.

I usually make my own too, from turkey, beef or chicken. Pork does not have a lot of 'drippings' and can be dry sometimes. A gravy option would be great!

Great...will have to search (or nag my Raleigh friends). B)

Excellent gravy. I found it last year just before Thanksgiving. The only problem I had with it was opening the package! I couldn't figure out how to do it. So I wrote to the company and asked. And I got a ton of coupons including some for free products! Try writing to them and praising the product. You'll probably get coupons.

Anyway to open it, you have to put a non sharp knife under the plastic tab, break it, then push it into the opening. Strange design but great gravy!

I'm not cooking a turkey with bone this year...so was wondering about Pre-made gravy. Thanks for the posts!

I was thinking of roasting a whole chicken earlier in the week and using those drippings to make gravy on Thanksgiving.

Thanks Julie for the heads up.

I also had high eosinophils which I’ve never had before either - could that be due to gluten consumption?

You're welcome! Be sure the patient eats at least ten grams of gluten per day for a minimum of two weeks prior to repeating antibody testing.   Some people unconsciously reduce the amount of gluten in their diet because the feel unwell.  Three grams of gluten per day is sufficient to produce symptoms.  Only at ten grams or more is the immune system provoked to raise the antibody production high enough so that the antibodies leave the digestive tract and enter the blood stream where they can be measured.   Read the comments below the article...

Thanks for your response and thoughts. Total IgA is normal. HLA DQ2/DQ8 came as heterozygous and the interpretation of the lab that the risk of coeliac disease is mild to moderate. Thyroid function test is normal. I agree that the best way is to repeat tTG antibodies in 6 months time as the result was not massively high.

Welcome to the forum, @Wamedh Taj-Aldeen, How is the patient's thyroid?   You could check for thiamine deficiency which can cause the thyroid to either become hyper or hypo.  TTg IgA can be high in both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.  tTg IgA can also be high if patient is taking medications to stimulate the thyroid as in hypothyroidism.   Thanks for visiting!  Keep us posted!
