Anyone have good replacement methods for broth cubes?

My favorite broth cube used to be the mixed vegetables one. I loved putting it in spinach or mushroom soup. Some food would be sortof flavorless without it

You could try Better than Bouillon. It comes in a jar and is a flavourful concentrated paste that comes in many flavours. You could also make broth as it is very easy - it freezes well, too. :D

I make my own broth but Herb-ox beef, chicken, and vegetable bouillon is gluten-free.

I also put gluten-free miso into broth for more flavor. I get Cold Mountain brand and it says gluten-free on the tub. It's also non-GMO. Be careful to check that any miso you buy is gluten-free because some brands use barley in the koji cultures.

Besides Better than Bouillon, Herb-Ox brand cubes are gluten-free.The varieties are beef, chicken, vegetable, and garlic chicken. See their link: Open Original Shared Link I use them in my mock gluten-free onion soup mix for dips.

Be sure and check the sodium content. I saw one yesterday in the health food store, 1200 mils of SALT!

Isn't the salt and MSG the whole point of commercial bouillon? ;)

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
