tumor in kidney? ya right! i cant believe they made me think for 7 months that she had a tumor in her kidney, i worried like crazy.

turns out, her kidney is misshaped, and has a fold in it. the skin on skin fold is what they saw. not a tumor.

what a relief!!!!! the doc said and dont come back, shes fine!!! lol

thank the lord!

That is wonderful news. I'm sure it is such a relief for you to know that she is fine. But how frustrating to worry for so long, probably thinking the worst would happen.

My middle son has always had more health issues than anyone else in the family and there were times when I thought that he might not make it to adulthood. Now that I know that his problems are gluten (fixed by diet), nasal polyps (fixed by surgeries), asthma and migraines (both fixed my medication) and a rare fever disease (also fixed by medication) I am okay with it. NONE of these things are life threatening, as long as they are treated properly! But I have to tell you that there were days where his fever would spike to 105 and then he would drop down to 95 in a few hours and I couldn't keep him warm. I was afraid he wouldn't make it through the night...

No worries now. :D

God bless,

Mariann

The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.
