Just thought I'd let everyone know that Woolworths now have flavoured potato chips in the free from range. Flavours include plain, Smokey bbq, chicken and salt and vinegar. I have tired the bbq ones and really liked them. Its nice to finally have flavoured potato chips, instead of rice crackers or vege chips. -
Hey guys. I'm in Australia, where you can forget about getting flavoured potato chips. Anyway I was able to pick a bag of Walkers crisps from one of those great shops that has imported food. It was the steak and onion flavour. On the packet it says that it is suitable coeliacs, however when you read the ingredients it has malt extract from barley...

I was just wondering if Bailey's Irish cream or Tia Maria are ok? Also has anyone tired any of Silly Yaks products? I tired the coffee scroll but was not really impressed to be honest. I have tired the Eskal Ice cream cones and they are really nice. :-) -
Hi guys. I was in sweet shop the other day and found something called Scottish tablet, I was just wondering if this is gluten-free? we have different labelling laws in Australia so I don't want to get confused. Also I have discovered Thornton's Cappucino bars - they are delicious! Also is walker's toffe ok for us to have?

Does anyone know any brand of mint leaves available at supermarkets we can have? I was going to get gluten-free ones from the health food shop for Christmas, only everyone else seems to have had the same idea. That will teach me for leaving things to the last minute Also for those of you in Brisbane, what are some good restaurants, health food type... -

Has anyone tired the new berry biscuits from freedom foods? They are only available at Woolworths aprantly but sound like they'd be tasty I found hot dog buns at an IGA the other day! They are made by Golden hearth. It cost me about $10.50, to expensive to have all the time but I just had to try them - They were quite nice. Also I recently tired the... -

Firstly, Thanks to Aussie Peg for that info. Does anyone else find that adding cornflour and bi carb to muffins helps them to rise? I left these out of some muffins I made yesterday and they didn't rise Also just wondering if anyone is having trouble getting the Deigo's corn tortillas? My local Coles have been out for over a week, I haven't... -

Any tired the new basco cereal? Honey O's or something I think they're called. I wouldn't mind trying them but don't want to fork out all the money and not like them. Also with the vege chips ( u know the ones u buy at coles and woolies) are the bags u buy with all the small packets ok? If they are do they gluten-free on the front. I have noticed some... -

White Wings make custard powder that is gluten-free. Paul's will write on the cartons of their pre made custards if it's gluten-free. Does anyone know of any supermarket brands of lolly banannas that are ok? I've been craving some lately, but don't feel lik paying $6 for the ones from the health food shop. -
Try not to beat yourself up about it, I found that when I was trying to stop eating gluten the more I would be beat myself up about it, the less easy it was. I stoped gradually eating it, start out small by maybe having fruit for breakfast instead toast ( or find a nice gluten-free one). I have to eat a lot gluten before I will get ill so this may not be...

Steggals now have pumpkin, sunflower and linseed coated chicken pieces that we can eat. I got them at woolies, they taste ok but I think next time I will put some lemon juice on it to add a bit of flavour. -
I liked it although the stuff they cut out did annoy me. I think they needed to include a bit more information, espcially at the end it would have made the film stand alone. Cutting the swamp didn't bother me but the way the DA was found out really annoyed me, they may as wel have just eliminated the whole storyline. I like Grawp, which is strange...

I cheated the other day and had chicken and chips. Im really asymptamatic so have eat lots to get sick. The silly things is that I did have a choice. I dont know why I did it really. The best thing to do is not beat yourself up, be very careful for a few days and like others said, get some yummy gluten-free treats. -
I would assume that you would get gluten-free slop. The cc would be the major issue tho.

I have also recently tired the livewell pita breads- also very nice but far to expensive to have all the time. Does anyone know of any supermarket pasta sauces we can have? eg Dolmio. leggos etc. -

When you are reading a text book about things you already know and it doesn't make sense. The biscuits I made then stuck to trays. ( I managed to get them off ok in the end) When I was cleaning my mess I started to fill up the sink, put the detergent in and realised no bubbles were forming- I had left the plug hole out. -

I found some nice bread by Golden Hearth, its is new and comes from the Gold Coast. I tired the gluten-free seed loaf, I warmed in the microwave and ate as bread. I got it from a health food shop, I have seen the brand in supermarkets but not sure if its the gluten-free one they sell. -

Thanks georgie. I think I will just use sweet short crust pastry as I've got a few recipies for it. White wings also have gluten-free custard powder. Does anyone know if Country Life still make their hamburger rolls? I haven't seen them around for awhile. -

Does anyone have a recipe for custard or vanilla slice? I'm not sure what is but I'm talking about the one that traditionally has a yellow base and pink icing. I got a sudden craving for some today. Also glutano chocolate O's are great, they taste like an oreo, but they are a lot smaller. -
