  1. I love Jesus.
  2. Well mine was bought in Alberta from Safeway and was a small can. Sorry.
  3. Oh, how annoying. I stopped using Fry's because of the warning of being made in a facility with wheat.
  4. I cruised with Royal Caribbean, it was fine and they even brought me gluten free bread with my supper.
  5. I have done this, I own a gluten free tea room and gift shop. We serve light lunches and snacks. We are in Alberta, Canada. I have two kinds of bread that I serve, we have a few people who eat there that are not gluten-free. Some of the non gluten-free people don't care for the bread and that is fine. I probably sell close to 6 loaves of bread...
  6. Your welcome, I needed to know as I want to get their coffee to serve in my tea room.
  7. I just talked to them and they told me that all of their coffee's are gluten free.
  8. Wow, thanks for all your hard work. I know that it takes a lot of time to get stuff like that straightened out. Glad to have the forums back.
  9. I don't think any of our brains are what they used to be.
  10. No the cereal itself hasn't actually changed but it isn't safe anymore. The processing has changed to a line that also produces items with gluten. It used to say Gluten Free on the box now it just says Wheat Free, it was causing me to be slightly upset in my gut. It was subtle enough that I didn't know I was being glutened and thought I was fighting off...
  11. I've been eating this gluten free corn flakes for a couple of years or more and now it isn't gluten free. But I didn't catch that for about 2 boxes worth. I couldn't figure out why I haven't been feeling well until I went to buy a box yesterday and noticed it no longer said gluten free, now it just says wheat free. I'm so not impressed. Nowhere on the...
  12. Welcome.
  13. I have no problem with my dishwasher and live in a combined household. LOL Do you have seperate butter/margerine? What about toaster? Have you cleaned that dishwasher well, taken out the spray arms and flush them clean. I don't worry about my dishcloths either but interesting thoughts. I hope this helps Esther. Glad to see you on here.
  14. That's great and so thoughtful of your mom.
  15. I cruised with RC earlier this year, when you get on to the ship go to the dinning room and talk to the head waiter and let them know. They are very good to work with and even had gluten free bread for me, it was really nice, and they had desserts for me too. I only eat my supper in the dinning room I ate at the buffet for other meals. The only thing...
  16. Congratulations to her, that is wonderful.
  17. Cool, I liked your blog.
  18. Hello, I'm just outside of Edmonton and have been to Kinnickinick a number of times. Great stuff. Cattle Boyz BBQ sauce is gluten free and made in Calgary. Yum. Open Original Shared Link
  19. Ouch, that's harsh. Some people are naturally skinny especially the young (I'm Canadian and don't know what a Stone is other then it is a weight measurement. ) I don't think you can stop the comments but you can tell them how much it is hurting you maybe that will help. Do you eat in front of them? At school lunch and stuff? I would talk to them about...
  20. Most tea is gluten free, not always with herbal teas and where it is produced of course can change that. Brands I trust ~ Stash as already mentioned, Twinnings is also safe. There are a lot of other ones too but those two are common and easily found.
  21. Just cruised with them in March. They know their stuff but it can get frustrating. I ate at the buffet a lot, the mashed potatoes are not safe, just so you know. For supper we ate in the dinning room. When you board go to the dinning room and speak with the head waiter, have him/her tell you what is safe in Windjammers and he/she should be able to...
  22. Here is a site for you. ~ Open Original Shared Link I hope that is helpful.
  23. Well it has been a long time, I moved in 1998 and had been tired and depressed but since I had gone through a stressful time I hadn't been worried about it. Also I wasn't gaining weight which is what I thought I had to look for (my mom has hypothyroid too ). I went to get my haircut and the hairstylist found bald spots. That got me to my doctor and that...
  24. Well I can't answer a whole lot but I can say that I have taken Synthroid sine finding out I have hypothyroid. The natural one is Armour here too I believe but am not positive on that. I need to ask my doctor about Hashimoto's and what, if any, is the difference. Hum. I don't understand how the numbers work but find it interesting that the levels...
