  1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! Just couldn't help yerself, could ya Bev?
  2. Any ideas what happened to the message boards? Everything from the last day and a half or so is gone...... Will it be coming back?
  3. I think maybe the government tried to stage a Celiac.com coup and lost. There's too much subverive information on this website.....
  4. Yeah, what happend? I feel like a crack addict without a fix, the error message came up and I FREAKED. Yay, its back!
  5. There is a disturbing lack of attention being paid to this subject......
  6. That's nothing. When I had my colonoscopy pre-gluten-free, they gave me graham crackers and saltines after. So we're driving home, and I tell my mother I'm going to barf. She pulls straight into a Donut Depot parking lot, where I proceed to open the door and puke on the pavement. Upon the conclusion of these festivities, I sit up and say " Awww!!!! It came...
  7. I meant for reasons other than distaste.
  8. "The Bunnie that wanted to be a Duck" That is the first time in recorded history that somethng has made me spit my food out. I gotta go tell my Mom!
  9. Well, the thing about Against the Grain is that they're not bad. Really, they're quite delicious. They're just not bagels. They're soft rolls with holes. The Glutino bagels are pretty darned good though, dense and chewy and bagel-riffic.
  10. They're yummy, but they don't taste like bagels to me. They're just like the rolls they make but with holes in them. Very good for egg sandwichs, and a better value than the rolls packages.
  11. Completely unrelated to your post, I have to tell you your name gave me BIG giggles!
  12. I would think any pancake mix would work, Pamela's does seem to be the most versatile. I personally tried it three years ago and didn't like it, I have persnickety tastebuds though.
  13. This also sounds pretty good to me.
  14. There's another way to look at it. Your 1.5 yrs out of work is going to be the elephant in the room. In my experience, bringing such things up BEFORE the interviewer is able to always scores you points. I'm guessing you were out of work because of Celiac? Either way, a simple statement of 'As to my health, I have been recently diagnosed with an autoimmune...
  15. Hope you're tucked in for the long haul, baby! Tis only November. February's always the worst, for me. I'm just so DONE by then. I wish I had a job where I could migrate.
  16. Ok. Bevel, we need to talk about your improper use of common vernacular...... (am I the only one that got that? )
  17. That's wierd, I've developed geographic tongue (usually in response to fresh strawberries) SINCE going gluten-free. Never before. Huh.
  18. Hey! Hey!! I have a facebook! How do I find people? I think I need to know your names, right? PM me!
  19. Hey, there's no link in your post! I wanna see the sexy kilt man!
  20. What an interesting thought......
  21. HAHAHAHAH!!!!! You know, I got sick from a glutening a few weeks ago, and I was at work. So I had the presence of mind to grab my cellphone on the way to the potty, where I spent the next TWO HOURS. I was calling my boss, who knows the score so I could be honest. I was texting my boyfriend because I don't have any games on my phone. I work with...
  22. The easiest meal I make? In a big spaghetti pot, brown a pound of ground meat. Pour in a big can of diced tomatoes, bag of frozen corn, bag of frozen baby peas, CRAPLOAD of spices (for me, I like cumin, garlic, pepper) maybe some extra water, and heat through. It's fast, easy, and requires no planning. My boyfriend gets this every other night during really...
  23. RECIPE.
  24. You know, that link to the female sexy mannequins? What was up with the scary snarl on her face? She looked like she was about to bite.
  25. Well, it would appear that it is now your offical job to 'up the wackl'!
