  1. Thanks for posting that information. I really appreciate it. I am glad that they took so much time to help and listen to you. I am anxious to see the letter! I do enjoy some of their frozen dinners and I would love to be able to eat them without worry.
  2. Yes, I am paranoid over crumbs, even the "invisible" ones, and especially when I'm eating. I can just get so sick from crumbs that I can't detect!
  3. Oh no... why oh why...
  4. I use McCormick bouillon, they make a beef and chicken flavour. I have also used Imagine chicken broth.
  5. I've stopped eating Amy's altogether and I won't eat any more of their products until they are produced on dedicated lines. I can't risk the cross contamination, especially now since I suspect that I have a severe allergy to wheat. I think they should know that more people would eat their products if they had dedicated lines.
  6. I think that is a good idea! It seems like a lot of people have problems with their stuff. I don't ever remember reacting to their frozen dinners, but I'm pretty sure I've reacted to their canned soups and chili. (Although back then everything seemed to make me sick, but my reaction was, well let's say "more urgent than normal" after eating their canned stuff...
  7. Ursa has some good advice! I would suggest adding more protein to your diet. Maybe salmon, extra lean beef, chicken? Salmon always fills me up. Spinach seems to fill me up too for some reason.
  8. That's great news! When and what time is The View usually on? Probably when I'm at work...Maybe I can take an early or late lunch.
  9. Some people notice improvements within several weeks, on average most people probably feel better within 3-4 months, and others, like myself need longer. I'm sorry that you are still having problems. I can relate. I was quite ill with celiac disease for several months before my diagnosis and up until about 6 months after I started the gluten-free diet. I...
  10. I think the hairdresser did a really nice job. The cut looks good on you. I actually got about 3.5 inches cut off my hair almost a month ago. It was getting too long to manage! It's nice to have hair that you can wear straight, wavy, or curly. My hair has a natural wave to it, I can make it curly my scrunching it with the right product.
  11. I made some chocolate pudding with soy milk. A little runny, but yummy!
  12. I am so sorry that you went through that. I'm really glad to hear that you found an old diagnosis of celiac disease and that you are on the diet and noticing improvements.
  13. lol... ah comic relief.
  14. Yeah that was funny, I am giggling... the nasties I am thankful to have no nasties at my work.
  15. I'm glad I could help. I know someone with a really bad environmental(chemical) allergy and I know how serious it can be.
  16. Thanks! I'll stay away from the fat free ones!
  17. I am pretty sure you can, but I don't think all labs will do the test.
  18. Karen, do you have another link to this site? Or do you still have that list? I was wondering if the pudding mixes were lactose free before adding milk.
  19. If you love eggs and meat, but dislike the way they are treated, then I would recommend eating fish, game meat, and/or organic free range animals that aren't treated badley. Health food stores will sometimes carry game meat and free range animal meat.
  20. Here are some suggestions: Severe allergies or intolerances to chemicals Severe environmental reactions Multiple severe environmental/chemical sensitivities I got that idea here: Open Original Shared Link
  21. I would recommend getting a gluten-free play-dough or making some at home. There is a chance she could put her hands in her mouth or eat something with her hands after touching the play-dough. Gluten-Free Play Dough Ingredients:
  22. I'm really sorry that you had to go throught that I have read that people with celiac disease have a 40% increased risk of cancer if they don't follow a 100% gluten-free diet. When following the diet; however, you may be decreasing your chances of cancer, especially if you are increasing your intake of vegetables and fruits. Yes, the diet seems overwhelming...
  23. Being on a gluten-free diet may result in false negative test results. The gene test; however, can be done while on a gluten-free diet.
  24. I may also try the Dove night cream. I really like the Dove product I bought last week. Chapstick is what I'm using! Ah! Maybe that's why my lips are always dry! I will also look for Karite. Hopefully I'll find one of the mentioned lip balms.
  25. Thanks! I'm glad it comes in a stick and that the chemists have verified that it is gluten-free! I may try Vaseline.
