  1. I have been to Vegas a few times. It's okay...not my favorite place to go. But it's a free vacation, and that's all that matters! LOL! Plus, it will be the last time I will go on a pool port free for a while, so that's exciting. What's everyone's weather like? It was raining and thundering (that's right, right Carla? ) yesterday! It was 100...
  2. Did anyone see the finale??????? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I have noticed that my skin does not like the finishing dust. I break out from it! I love the way it makes my skin look, but I don't like the way my skin looks 2 days later.
  4. Yes they are gluten free. I had 2 epidurals in the summer of last year and they were fine as far as gluten goes. I don't think any IV fluids or shots have gluten in them. You might want to ask to be put under some sedation for the procedure.
  5. I LOVE Walgreens! They are so nice! As a matter of fact, they know me when I call. I'm actually going to Vegas next weekend! I just found out about a wedding I'm going to this summer! I'm SO excited!!! I haven't been to a wedding in a couple years! Carla, Thanks for posting that info. I will definitely talk to Dr H if this continues...
  6. I did not get well on the diet. I still have extremely irregular periods, horrible fatigue, anemia, brain fog, and the list goes onto about 55 symptoms. I have Lyme Disease and a co-infection of it. I don't believe that gluten is what is causing my symptoms. It is possible I have Celiac disease. All I'm really trying to say is that I don't think 1 in...
  7. I have something totally off topic... I have had my period lightly for about 8 days (probably more, but I don't really remember). My question is, is there any way, if it doesn't stop, to stop the bleeding without going on BCP? I don't know if anyone knows anything about this, but I thought I'd ask. I just don't want to go 90 days again, because I am...
  8. That was a fun trip!!!
  9. I did ecoffee a couple times. The thing is, I can't do it when my mom is home, it stresses me out! And lately she's been home a lot. If you buy a special enema bag from Walgreens, it's also used as a d%$#@#$ and hot water bottle...that has a special thing for insertion, and it makes it a lot easier. Also, you will need lubrication. If you want to ask me...
  10. I'm going to post exactly what needs to be run for a hematology work up for Sherry, but since people PM me a lot asking, I'm going to bookmark this page so I can give the link to people when they need it. Hematology: WBC RBC HGB HCT MCV MCH MCHC RDW MPV Platelets Granulocytes % Granulocytes # Lymphocytes % Lymphocytes # Monocytes % Monocytes...
  11. Carla, I'm glad you're feeling better! I have been really slacking on the detox lately. Ever since I went on flagyl and can't take any tinctures, I haven't been keeping up. And, the energy it takes to do ecoffee is a lot! It's a vicious cycle...take the energy I don't have, but I might get more energy for doing it. Sherry, I know what you mean...
  12. I think lots of people are gluten intolerant, but not necessarily Celiac. That's just my opinion. I tend to not be so convinced about so many people having celiac because I was TEXTBOOK (I screamed Celiac) but I did NOT get better on the diet. I'm still on a strict gluten free diet, and I still get very sick from gluten, so I have no plans on eating it any...
  13. Awww Julie. I'm so sorry!!! That really sucks, but I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
  14. I would definitely ask "L" about PICC's and camping! I don't think I would have been comfortable camping with a PICC line. Well, I KNOW I wouldn't be comfortable. I'm going to Lake Tahoe in July, and I'm freaked out about not being in my house with all my stuff. Although I will have a port, so it's a little different than a PICC, and easier to maintain.
  15. I keep forgetting to call the lady Dr H suggested to me. I haven't had another colonic since that first horrible experience. I must admit, I'm not surprised I'm forgetting...don't want to go have another bad experience, LOL!
  16. I haven't had any treatment for sulfa detox whatever, lol. I'm on a sulfur free diet, but not being treated for anything right now as far as food goes. I'm supposed to have my wisdom teeth out, but my LLMD almost killed me when I asked him...he said NO WAY!!! When they started to grow in a few months ago, it was SO painful! I can totally relate...
  17. I recently got an order of make up from the old site. My mom needed more stuff because she was almost out of foundation, and couldn't wait until the new site is up. I only got 1 thing out of her order...she told me when the new site is up that she will buy me a couple custom kits. So until then...nothing exciting in my order. Just foundation and one blush...
  18. Julie, Can you tell us what foods you're reacting to? What are your red foods? I am supposed to go have my food test done, but I know once I get the results back, I will have to cut out more food, so I keep avoiding it. Mia, I haven't done a coffee enema lately...too much back pain to be able to lay on the floor and do one. I just got my Lyrica...
  19. Sherry...I will get you the iron info you asked for. I keep forgetting, and right now I have to run out the door for an appt. (The one I overslept for last week, LOL! except I woke up on time! )
  20. Donna, When you do your B12 shots (or when you DID), do you feel better on those days? I don't know if it was coincidental, but I felt a lot better today...it was a B12 day. Hmm...
  21. Donna, Do the think thin bars have soy in them? I used to LOVE those!
  22. LOL! I'm on flagyl, and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Just really bad fatigue. Like, the only thing that sounds interesting is being in bed. But I have to babysit today, almost all day. Thankfully the kids are under the weather, so they'll just watch movies all night long.
  23. Donna, The Tindamax and leg thing might be a herx? Or it could be a side effect, I'm not sure. I think I use the same pharmacy in Washington... Clark's Pharmacy? They're really nice. All of their stuff is gluten free, lol. Usually they send their stuff with cold packs. Did yours have an ice pack in the box?
  24. Does anyone know...Dr H ordered some food intolerance testing, and I know they aren't very accurate, BUT does anyone have any idea, if I take the foods out of my diet, how long will they show up in my blood? Kinda like...for celiac blood work, if someone cut gluten out and waited 4 days...would it make a difference? I am on a total roll with the sulfur...
  25. I'll have to look into that. That's a great idea about the rice cereal...I do already have some. I can actually have brown rice cereal! The thing is that's so frustrating is that I don't feel different so far on the diet. It's SO limited, and I still don't feel better, LOL! I'm still as nauesous as I was before after everything I eat. Very...
