  1. I would also say no way. I know our school would work with us if we asked, but the risk is way too high IMHO. My dd helps me pack her lunch every day, that way she can be in charge (within reason) of what she's eating. There's never been a complaint here! Good luck to you though, I hope it works for you!

  3. This is the immediate sign for us that our son has been glutened. I thought he had been eating sand at first until I found out he had taken a cookie away from another child in his preschool and he had never been in the sandbox that day
  4. I boob-fed 2 kids for 13 months each and in between the little boob suckers, I lost 100#. Now I have size small C skin--can't even call them bresticles anymore--well maybe that would work because without a brazier, they hang like icicles I'm SOOOOOO sorry if that was TMI, but it made me laugh!!
  5. If diarrhea is the problem-is in my house-I give immodium and impliment the BRAT (lots of bananas, rice, apples, gluten-free toast (waffles, pancakes etc)) diet to try to aleviate the acid poo's. I also have them drink as much water over the course of the next few days as possible to help flush it out. They eat very simply for the next week. Hope this...
  6. I had a patient last week who was going on and on about computer technology. He mentioned "cookies" then looked at me and said, "well, they're not the kind YOU eat." Did that jack-ass just call me fat? Re: my 1st patient today: Me hath decided toodae that I r officially not a fan of man-teets. I apologize if I am offending any of you gentlement...
  7. I'm so sorry too! That happened to me while I was at work 2 years ago, it was a horrible day. My silver lining was that my bestest friend had her baby girl on that very same day, I figured since I already had 2 beautiful kids and she had been trying for years with no success, God must have thought she needed my baby more than me. I pray that it will happen...

  13. WOW!! You are sooooo fortunate! Took my kiddo's to the fair here and there was pretty much nothing they could eat. All the "safe" food-ie corn on the cob-was all on the same grill as everything else. Even the soft serve place couldn't tell me if their ice cream was gluten-free and they had no ingredient lists in the kitchen Luckily, I packed a huge...

  19. Try your regular hair conditioner instead of bath soap for a shave cream, it works amazing! Softens the hair, easier shave. I just buy the cheap Suave stuff that's gluten-free.
  20. We have a Five Guys here and there's no way I would ever let my kids eat there, I'd be interested to hear if others eat there and their experiences. It's a crazy busy place, people in line around the building (seriously!!), greasy burgers being slapped together one after the other. CC would be a HUGE issue at our local store!! Anybody else??
  21. I use coconut oil for a moisturizer, especially around my eyes. It also works amazing for eczema.
