I got married in Berkeley last July and it was gluten free (except cupcakes some were gluten free some not) We had the reception at Adagia Restaurant who were wonderful doing everything gluten free Look into doing it at a restaurant or room in a restaurant with a chef who will work with you then you will have amazing food with no work or clean-up for you...
  2. I think most raw crackers are sprouted, so I would use sprouted buckwheat ect then I think it would be much more digestible

  4. I get super itchy skin with gluten (never diagnosed with DH) but I also get similar itchiness with other grains that cause me problems like corn. So you could be reacting to something else. Also check and double check all your toiletries
  5. I am type O as well, actually doing the Eating Right for your Blood Type diet is how I discovered I could not tolerate gluten

    I am waiting (not very patiently) for the Redondo Beach location to start carrying the gluten free crusts, the manager keeps telling me in a couple weeks and that was 3 months ago!
  7. I am also going to Miami soon and have been looking this up There is a Pizza Fusion - that has gluten free crust And Lifefood Gourmet - raw place so most if not all is gluten free both have websites to look at
  8. I also feel horribly sick on the pill. If it is the pill that is making you sick you also need to stay away from the patch and ring and anything else with hormones. They are all the same type medication and all make me feel sick.

  10. I also was eating a lot of the same foods everyday and developed additional intolerances, my doctor put me on the rotation diet which has helped and she said the more often you eat something the more likely you will develop an allergy or intolerance to it.

  12. Chebe mixes have a recipe for tortillas, I haven't made them but everything else Chebe I've made is so good All tapioca so grain free!

Whole Foods of course will have lots of flours and other gluten free products, my local health food store also carries all the gluten-free flours What I do is go to Whole Foods and buy different things I want to try and then if I like them I will by bulk online like on Amazon. That way it is not as $$$
  14. My favorites are brown rice flour, buckwheat flour and tapioca, but I also use amaranth, teff, millet, and arrowroot.

  18. I think Gluten Free Pantry Sandwich Bread Mix is the best, second Pamela's Amazing Bread Mix Go buy a bread machine and it is so easy, you don't need to know anything about baking. They both also freeze well, I usually freeze at least 3/4 of the loaf so it doesn't go bad before I can eat it.

  21. Chebe mix has a recipe for cheesy goldfish type crackers and I have made crackers from their cinnamon mix and I think they taste like cinnamon grahams. Crunchy and yummy!
  22. I love Indian food, I think it is one of the most gluten free friendly cuisines. I am vegetarian also and usually all of the vege dishes are gluten free (just always ask everyone has different recipes). The naan bread is made from wheat flour and not safe.   23. When you eat something everyday that bothers your body it all builds up and can show as symptoms that seem unrelated to what you are eating If you do decide to try eggs be careful, after cutting them out for a while your reaction may be a lot stronger than you would think

  25. Corn and Sorghum are both grains so yes they are related, but that doesn't necessarily mean you will react to both. I react to corn but not sorghum.
