  2. Sort of near the top of your page it will say "Logged in as: Roo" To the far right of that is the "My Assistant" link. Make sure your pop-up blaocker is off, if you use one.
  3. I believe that if a Chik-Fil-A serves breakfast that their fries are not gluten-free. A lot of loactions don't sereve breakfast and have dedicated friers.
  4. Which sorts of gluten-free foods does Carrabba's have?
  5. There is a link between gluten and migraines. I cannot remember the studies about it to show but I know that there was research done linking the two. The studies didn't have anything to do wtih Celiacs but with just trying to find causes to migraines and how to eliminate them.
  6. I have been told that, too! That I will grow out of it. I tell these people that it is a genetic auto-immune disorder and not some passing food intolerance but they don't agree. At least we know about our Disease.
  7. Yes, a blood test can tell you if you have celiac disease. The results can say you don't have it when you do. However, I believe that id the results say you have it then you truly do. You can also have a biopsy done to test for Celiac Disease and damage but you have to be consuming gluten to have this test give proper results.
  8. My Mother and Brother, who have Celiacs, eat out often. They eat animals so they usually have plain meats for their meals. The main thing you can do is talk to the manager and/or the chef. You must let them know that this is serious and you are paying for your food and expect to come out of there healthy. Also, contacting the support group there is also...
  9. Open Original Shared Link That is a thread on support groups in Colorado. However, feel free to use this whole forum for questions and resources.
  10. Here are Colorado groups, JlazyH.
  11. Pinning topics makes it easier to tell new threads from old ones. Many threads need to be moved into new places and lots of duplicate threads need to be deleted. I also believe that once a topic is pinned it is not moved to the top of the pile but is put in order by the time it was posted. I could be wrong, though. Pinning topics only means that they...
  12. 1. I guess what I'm asking is whether a gluten reaction could be this severe for this long? Yes, a gluten reaction can be this bad and for this long. Gluten reactions can also be much worse than what you have described. 2. Stabbing pain in the area above the public area; is this type and location of pain something others have experienced? It's so...
  13. Have you guys found any gluten-free restaurants in Charleston or Columbia, South Carolina?
  14. Anyone can respond to an unpinned thread. If the thread needs to be moved all the responces are moved with it.
  15. I am not sure how I feel about this whole thing, yet. I have local Walmarts and my brother works at one. He has Celiac Disease and this will make it easier for him to eat something at work. However, I think I will stick to my local heath food stores.
  16. When you come to this website you should see that you are logged in and then to the right of that it says "My Controls." Keep looking right and you come to "New Messages." Click on that to see your personal messages.
  17. That is very cool. I am glad you all had a lovely meal.
  18. I found that in college it is easier to find people who know about these sorts of things and know what gluten is. In High School serious vegetarians and more health food eaters will be aware of gluten and possibly Celiacs. Good luck finding someone!
  19. Only the Crispy M+M's are not gluten-free. The rest are fine!
  20. Fruits and vegetables are good and they don't cost too much.
  21. Sometimes I dream I eat food and then realize that I can't have gluten and try to spit it up.
  22. I am into water polo. It is the gratest sport ever invented. It wasn't on there so I voted for swimming because it is a great sport, too.
  23. After being gluten-free for awhile I notice that I become sensitive to being touched by gluten. Shampoo with it gives my head rashes and lotions make me itchy. Plus, I do usually get shampoo in my mouth when washing my hair and I do touch my mouth with my hands. It's best to be careful but it is up to you on what products you use.
  24. Call the company that makes them and ask.
  25. Thank you, I think I will go there!
