  1. Oh, I used to like eating there when I lived in California.
  2. I live in Northern Georgia so I can't help with what is by Moultrie specifically. There is a grocerystore chain called Publix and they have some health food. There is one 24 miles away from Moultrie. Pinetree Shopping Center (Store #00476) 2551 E Pinetree Blvd Ste 11 Thomasville, GA 31792-4823 Main: (229) 227-0389 Fax: (229) 226-8979 I hope...
  3. Celiac Disease does run in families. Your cousins could have inherited from their mother or fathers side. If they inherited it from the side connected to you then there is a chance you and your family could have it, too. Not everyone has symptoms or shows them right away. Sometimes people show nothing or have a few periods in their life where they are...
  4. I think anyone should post, if they want to. I have told my 18 year old brother he should but he hasn't any intrest.
  5. I know of children younger than you but they don't usually post here.
  6. Egg sandwiches, noodles with different sauces, and all sorts of salads- regular, with fruit, potatoe, egg, and such. I liked noodles and bread when I was little.
  7. The same with me. They always have though.
  8. My Mom and my Brother both found out they have Celiac Disease after I was diagnosed.
  9. Humans in general don't take well to wheat. So, it isn't too crazy that you saw health improvements. You could have an allergy or problems with gluten. Going back on gluten will be harsh for your system, like you described. Just because you went without it and it is hard on humans systems.
  10. Until you are older your parents are the ones responsible for your health. You wouldn't be going to the doctor if you didn't have to, so don't worry. If you don't like asking for money get a part time job and earn your own spending money. If you don't want to do that then just do things to make them proud like getting good grades, picking up around the...
  11. If not eating gluten makes you feel better then stick with it! Do what makes you healthier.
  12. Utz site lists which are glutenfree. I eat them like crazy when I am up north. There should not have been an issue with them.
  13. The local supermarket chains Kroger and Publix will have gluten-free things. If you go about a half an hour there is Atlantis Natural Food. 2488 Mt. Vernon Rd. Dunwoody GA 0338 770-393-1297 Also 30 minutes away there is a Harry's Farmers Market which is basically the same as Whole Foods. 2025 Satellite Pointe Duluth, GA 30096 770.416.69...
  14. Butter and milk should be fine. You could be having issues with lactose or casein.
  15. I wouldn't eat them because of the oats.
  16. About Nashville: Bonefish grill is a place we can eat at. My parents (My Mom has Celiacs, too) visited a location of theirs in Chattanooga but they have one in Nashville, too. They both enjoyed their appetizers but both didn't enjoy their main meals. That doesn't mean it's all bad but that was their only time there. Open Original Shared Link
  17. I thought Dr. Pepper was not gluten-free.
  18. Hello!
  19. Bloodtests can be tricky and show false negitives. If your son is doing well on the glutenfree diet then I would stick with it! I was diagnosed with Celiacs and then my brother but my mother could never get a positive result. She clearly has the diesease. So, she went on the diet and it made her better. You know what is working for your son and...
  20. I know my Mother has it and we are part Irish.
  21. I like to check the ingredients for wheat, barely, gluten, rye, and oats. If it seems glutenfree I liked to call the company (from the store with my cell phone) and I ask them. If it is labled gluten-free and I check the ingredients then I will buy it without calling. Have fun and good luck!
  22. I eat fruit for breakfast. Sometimes I fo Kinnkinnick bagles.
  23. Jenvan, I have only used their Alfredo sauce. I find it very yummie. I have been using it awhile now so I make it to my own liking by using less milk (I use goats milk) and more butter (vegan "butter"). Sometimes I like it thick and other times not. It's very easy to make it just how you want it!
