  1. The High School I went to for three years had a microwave sitting on a counter at the side of the lunch room. Lots of people used it all the time. In between classes it would even be used for popcorn, too. The High School I went to for my last year did not have one out that I remember. I am very into art and the art teachers had one and kids in class...
  2. My family recently went to Florida. I didn't go but my Brother and Mother did and they both have Celiacs Disease. There is a P.F. Changs in Orlando and they have a glutenfree menu. My brother likes Mexican food and he ate a lot of that at different places. You have to check what everything is made from but a lot of Mexican food is already glutenfree....
  3. You should check out Risotteria, for sure. I was thinking about checking out Peter's next time I am in town.
  4. You should stop by Risotteria Open Original Shared Link. They have great gluten-free pizza! I also like Kinnikinnicks cinnamon rasin bagels, so yummie!
  5. You could try goats milk.
  6. I do not eat gluten knowingly. I will eat some dairy things knowing that later I might have a stomach ach. It is just different with gluten, though.
  7. Kinnikinnick has hotdog and hamburger buns. I do not know how to bake any though.
  8. Did they have any meals for vegetarians?
  9. I think it may be worse symptom-wise.
  10. Chick-fil-a has gluten-free food. Open Original Shared Link
  11. You should try just eating fruits, vegetables, and plain meats to start with. That way you don't have to worry about eating gluten in processed foods while you are learning what you can and cannot have.
  12. You should really go try it. celiac3270 and I ordered the same thing. They have a lot more than what we got. Those other options oculd have been better. I would eat there again. Go to Risotteria, too! They are open everyday starting at noon.
  13. I moved your post into a different section. You can find it here Open Original Shared Link. If you ever want to find your or anyone elses just click the user name and click "Find member's posts".
  14. You can go to your regular doctor for tests. Tell them you want to be tested for Celiac Disease and they will do a blood test and/or a biopsy. Hopefully these tests will halp you find your answer.
  15. There are still plenty of places to eat out. I like to cook for myself though. P.F. Changs and Out Back Steakhouse both have glutenfree menus. You can get big juicy bun-less burgers at most regular restaurants. If you have a deep fryer you can make yummie homemade frenchfries. You don't have to be cooking non-stop. If you look around you will find gluten...
  16. Yes, non-Celiacs would feel different once they gave up gluten. Once they would start re-introducing it back into their diet they would not feel so well and would have trouble digesting it. Humans aren't really well adapted for eating wheat and gluten.
  17. Laughing about it is the best thing to do! It's a lot of things to do but at least you are out there doing them and being happy!
  18. The bread isn't a white bread. It didn't really go with the meal. It had like a vegetable in it or something. It would have been better with different food but it was just very unexpected in taste and all. The hardness of the pasta would be different every meal, I think.
  19. I had the Traditional Marinara. I enjoyed it. The pasta was a bit too hard but not enough to send back. I did not like the bread, either. However, I would eat there again, I think. Open Original Shared Link I also ate at Risotteria, again. It was very good! I had a tomato sauce pizza without cheese. Open Original Shared Link
  20. In Israel things will be written in Hebrew. I am not sure if they have English on them, too. Hebrew will be very hard to understand unless you are familiar with it. A good idea is to get in touch with your countries Celiac Support Group Organization. They can help put you in contact with group leaders in other countries and that leader can help you figure...
  21. Are any of these fragrant-free? I would like to use a non-fragrant gluten-free shampoo. Thanks!
  22. I get on food kicks, a lot. Try eating a little bit of food more times a day. Like, eat just some then wait until later to eat some more and so on.
  23. Have a fun and nice birthday party!
  24. Maybe you could ship some of your food there. Things like noodles and bread (which your Mom could place in the fezzer) and then buy meat, fruit, and vegetables at her local store.
