  1. Just learn as you go. That's the only way to do it. It is good to make sure your daughter is learning with you. I was on my own with figuring it all out at 17 and then my Mother and Brother were diagnosed. He is a little bit younger than me and takes no part in learning what he can and can't have. If it doesn't say gluten he will eat it and he usually...
  2. Some vaccines warn that they use eggs. That's not something I wanted to read before being injected.
  3. Try buying and eating more fruits, vegetables, and eggs. You can do soups, salads, hashbrowns, and eggs yummie. Some health food stores have student discount cards which come in handy, too.
  4. Aw, that's great!
  5. I do fine with it. I stopped eating all animals just over a year ago but before then I didn't eat them too much. I don't like eating out at all unless it is at P.F. Changs or afew places that are Gluten-free in NYC. They all offer vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and that's how I do it. I always bring fruit with me when I am doing day trips and on campus...
  6. I like Kinnikinnicks!
  7. Watered down glue usually works. I don't know if gluten-free flour will also work but you could try it.

  11. I use my cell phone and call the company while at the store. If I can't do that I write the number down because I don't like taking chances with gluten.
  12. I do not think we can post pictures on here. I tried all the different ways and nothing worked. I just assume the option has been turned off.
  13. I think it is really up to how your kid is. You could do some home schooling and some not. I am glad to have gone all 12 years in public school.

  17. I think it would be a good idea for her to maybe get tested and to also lok at her diet for other food allergies.
  18. My Mother and Brother went shopping today at Target and found Thai Kitchen brand. The Roasted Garlic Rice Noodle Bowl is egg free, too, and the String Onion Instant Rice Noodle Soup is also vegan! I didn't look at all they bought but they clearly list Gluten-Free on their products! My brother ate all of his meal but I have not tried any. Open Original...
  19. I like the regular M+M's lots.
  20. I like eating fruit for breakfast.
  21. I don't know how it is for Wal Mart but for Home Depot I know that they run their Canadian stores very differently than they do their U.S. ones. They can't just start one program and carry it all the way over all their stores and I think Wal Mart may be the same way. There are big differences between our governments and laws and those of Canada.

  23. Don't give up! Keep looking at your diet and see if there ar eother issues. I have problems with dairy things too and also with acidic foods. Once you get everything worked out you will feel better. If you eat the food that you know make you sick they will only cause damage and hurt you even more. I hope you start feeling better, Bratcat.
  24. I like your idea, Elonwy.
  25. She is lovely!
