  1. Look into Vegan things. I haven't found a dairy-free cheese yet but for other things I just go vegan and gluten-free.
  2. Last week a friend and I went to my favorite restaurant, Risotteria, twice. Both times I ordered cheese-less tomato sauce pizza while my friend ordered non-gluten-free food. Now they serve each table delicious gluten-free breadsticks. I bought a bag the second day to take home with me but they were not seasoned like the ones they serve while you eat but...
  3. Nine of us went out to Outback last week in Perry Hall, Maryland, three of us being gluten-free. Our waiter and the manager were beyond helpful and enthusiastic to make our three meals perfect and gluten-free. I was very nervous because I thought I would get sick but their helpfulness got me over my fear and I ordered a salad (I am a vegetarian). They...

  16. I use brown rice flour and vegan "butter" with the Toll House recipe and they come out so very tastey!
  17. These were not th breaded wings! They were what you would call "naked." You couldn't tell by looking at them he put a little flour on them.
  18. I was watching Restaurant Makeover on The Food Network and the Chef told how he made their chicken wings. He said some of the normal things you think of and then he said he uses a little flour! I would never have thought that by looking at them! So, just make sure to ask before eating them because who knows who else uses some flour, too.
  19. That's great, Bridget!
  20. Just because this is a genetic disease does not mean everyone gets it.
  21. I am in college and go to two different Atlanta and outside of Atlanta support groups. I haven't found anyone on campus, yet, with Celiacs but I find regular support groups helpful and fun when we go out to eat!
  22. Silverware and such is fine but you should have seperate utensils if they are made from wood.
  23. I personally am gluten-free in every way and use gluten-free shampoo and such.
