I'm taking that 2x daily now to heal damage from long misdiagnosed celiac disease, food allergies, and 8 gastrointestinal infections (including pathogenic bacteria, 2 parasites and candida).     If you had normal regularity before going gluten free, your gluten reactions (softer stools) may have masked other intestinal problems which you now experience. I agree that taking magnesium supplements will help, because many celiacs are magnesium deficient. I also encourage you to take daily probiotics. If those contain FOS (prebiotics), you may suffer...

    I forgot to mention that the Heidelberg capsule test showed I produce only small amounts of acid after a long time. So I digest food very slowly and not very well.

    Which blood test diagnosed your allergies? Did you see the lab test results? (You are entitled to see those.) I'm confused about the 'sugar for the yeast' advice.     Gluten intolerance manifests in many ways OTHER than intestinal damage and gastrointestinal symptoms. Gluten intolerance does NOT always mean celiac disease. Celiac disease is the intestinal damage manifestion of gluten intolerance. So you can have gluten intolerance WITHOUT having intestinal damage.
